Presto Musical Repairs

I have purchased an instrument from here and have had various instruments serviced and repaired. The advice is friendly, honest and helpful. The repairs are fantastic. I'm an Interstate buyer of a Selmer Reference 54 so not a cheapy. I'm from Victoria and paying for something that expensive was quite an ordeal. I had a friend in Adelaide who was able to pick it up but the problem was that I needed to inspect the instrument prior to my friend picking it up and again when I got it.Simon was very helpful and even did a video walk through. I didn't want a sax that had already been opened, and I was lucky enough that they had an unopened one out the back. It did have one blemish on it which was a drip in the exterior curve of the bow. That was identified when my friend was there but they didn't pick up on it. That was my only :( about the whole purchase. Otherwise I got the other bits and pieces I needed all packaged up and resealed.I've got it home and am very happy with it. It plays better than my Yany AWO10 which I purchased about a couple of months prior. I found out that that one came with a ding in it so when I purchased the Reference I made sure to have it double checked. Again, Simon went above and beyond to ensure that I was as satisfied as I could be given the distance (8 hours drive one way).I intend on buying from them again, yes.

Simon spent many hours restoring my dear dad's B Flat Cornet. I am stunned at her magnificent beauty. Made in 1905. Played by dad so many years ago. I wish dad was here to see this. Simon has a genuine authentic love and passion which is so evident in his work and the pearls of wisdom he shares with you. Can't recommend Presto Music any higher. Absolute excellence.

If you need a music store that knows and understands instruments, this is THE place to go. They are knowledgeable and happy to talk with you without the pressuring you for sale. As a sax player I love that they have an entire room of saxes both new and secondhand, they seem to have it all. Definitely worth a trip here.
