BIGGEST CON ARTISTSI have been a business owner for 20 years now and I have learnt to take negative reviews somewhat lightly..Having noticed my hair loss increase over ten years I figured a free consultation with Advanced Hair Studio couldn’t do any harm. I was contacted via phone after my initial enquiry and was promised to be seen by a hair loss specialist on my consultation so I was keen to get a specialist insight on my condition. After all, these guy have been in business for more than 45 years so I felt that I had nothing to lose.On my consultation my cause of hair loss was explained to me and they showed me photo close ups of my scalp.Tim who who was referred to as the ‘store manager’ at the studio was the ‘hair loss specialist’ who basically upon a few questions explained that he has no actual medical qualifications.He then explained to me that I was in an advanced stage of hair loss so the only treatment he would recommend is strand by strand. I told him specifically that I did not want to be in a hair piece in which he explained this wasn’t because it would be grafted to my head. And I would need to come back every 3 weeks to have it taken off and reglued to my head for an additional cost unless I would glue it myself.I then asked to see these ‘systems’ they call it and it turns out to be just wigs!And the price he quoted me 12k! Wow!No thanks!So I asked about hair surgery that they had advertised since I can now afford to spoil myself. 15k was what I got quoted.Naturally I asked for time to think about it.Which Tim didn’t seem pleased about.The experience left me curious.I few days later I called Tim up and asked further about the surgery; where, who is surgeon, recovery.. he didn’t seem too keen to answer me at the time and said he would get back to me. He then insisted again in his recommendation to go into his wig systems which I immediately declined.Tim never got back to me so I followed up and found the name of the surgeon. The whole ordeal began to smell a bit fishy from now on so I was very cautious and did further research.The surgeon that they use is an independent surgeon whom you can find and book yourself. The only difference is Advanced Hair Studio will mark up the surgery by 25%!Yes I found that I could book the exact surgeon directly and save thousands!!!After the whole ordeal I went to see a Medically qualified hair loss specialist who prescribed me some minoxidil and some shampoo and I am beginning to see some real positive results.So now with the money I am planning a holiday to Vegas!!Moral of the story is, DO YOUR RESEARCH, MONEY IS BETTER IN YOUR POCKET THAN GIVEN TO THESE CONS THAT JUST GIVE YOU FAKE HOPES
