My accident happened in April 2019, I was hit by a car on my head and shoulder, the incident changed my life.The insurer did not grant any of my requests in the first year, and they want to cut all my future legal benefits by reject my claim, the reason they provide was I was at full fault and responsible for the incident. I do not have memory of the incident at all (even up to now), so there is nothing I can say back to them.My solicitor - Stephen Matthew from Turner Freeman lawyers provided the best advises and all the supports they can to help me fight in the legal field. After a internal review, the insurer changed their desiccation, but they were still hesitation to accept my claim which results the claim last for another three years.Beside the shoulder fracture and traumas I suffered, I then started to developed some mentally issue, included panic attack, breast pain, nervous, anxiety eventually I had Insomnia which unable me to fall in sleep naturally. I have to rely on some sleep medication to force me to fall in sleep.After three years struggle, during the period I had to attend countless medical assessment, from the insurer and turner freeman arrangement. Then, the insurer finally accept the claim, but what they had offered was only 1/3 what I revived last week, and the insurer want to cut 30% because they believed I should at least take 30% fault for the incident.Turner freeman helped me escalate the case to the court. The hearing took place on 15th March 2023, and result the member decided was three times higher than what the insurer original agreed to offered, and the member only cut 15% from the figure.This is way more than what I was expecting. Turner freeman truly stand up for their customer, and they hired the best barrister to speak up for you on the court.
