Raffertys Resort Lake Macquarie

We just went to the bistro for lunch and it was great. Food was great and service was friendly and relatively fast.I love a good schnitzel and theirs is delish!

Booked directly with resort. Upon our arrival 6:50 pm we were given the keys. Checked into room had a meal , tried to watch a movie but the television pictures were so poor we decided to go to bed. Omg the mattress were awful huge dips in them woke up with a bad back.Asked receptionist if we could do something about it. Was told no fully booked out. I asked if we could check out & be refunded for our second night. No we don’t give refunds I was informed.When I protested that I couldn’t sleep in the bed again I was informed that I chose to stay here & no refund.Late as we were on our way to a function the reason we were staying there. Was informed I could have another room. Great !!! NOT our new room smelled so bad of mould we had to open every window & go to the shop to buy air freshener. As office was closed.We left very early the next morning.Very poor customer service. They only care about our money.TERRIBLE SERVICE.

A group of 5 of us ladies spent a weekend at Raffertys in November. We found the accommodation, facilities and grounds lovely. A special thank you to Mitchell from the restaurant for cleaning up the pool area where the local ducks made a bit of a mess, but Mitchell saw to it with a smile.

Had lunch at the bistro by the lake. Food was good service good as well.

Didn't stay there but had breakfast there and it was terrible. The staff were lovely.

A group of us(5 ladies) stayed this last weekend at Raffertys.We were two days late in checking in for our 7day stay. We arrived late in the night. The manager of the resort Toni, went above & beyond. She was quick to the resort to give us access. She continued throughout our stay, along with the staff at the desk to be there to give an excellent service to us throughout our stay.The resort is quiet & beautiful.Highly recommended!!

Would not recommend this to anyone unless you have seen where you are going to stay before you arrive.There is a great disparity in the accommodation.I did not expect to move into a partially renovated house with the smell of fresh paint and builder dust. Combined with dirty floors and cupboards all needing to be cleaned before I could use them.Be aware the restaurant is not open at night during the week.The last straw was hairs in the shower recess.cost us $3,143.00 and we only stayed 2 nights not the 7 week had paid for.

Right on the lake, we've stayed in 4 different villas over the years, all have been great (some with ovens/dishwashers and some without - so worth checking before hand). With 4 different pools, tennis courts and restaurant/pool bar, it's brilliant for a self contained holiday. Shops close by at Swansea. Highly recommended for young kids (check out Caves Beach). Great holiday spot.

Amazing stay at the resort. You will get an experience of living in a modern village by the beach. Good for conferences.
