Boorkoom campground
We travelled from Brisbane to camp here over the Easter break. The place is not worth the long drive, they are better camp sites elsewhere. Sites 3,4 and 5 are the worst, attached to each other and on the dirt. It is a small camp site, 1 toilet and 1 bbq area, not much space between campers. It has a nice view but that is it. I didn't find the national park that great, it was very average .

Not many level sites. Nice and large. Nice walks. Rocky beach at campsites but nice beaches along the way

See photos of the camping area, full of day trippers. There were several more day trippers taking prime camping spots under the shady trees. There was a constant stream of them starting even before dawn, banging car doors and disturbing the peace. Several day parking areas are provided. It's obvious what is the camping area and what is the day parking area, but people don't want to walk 50 meters through the camping area to the stairs that lead down to the beach. NSWNP could do with putting up some decent signage and partitioning out camp spots (unfortunately necessary).

Right on beach, toilet facilities - seemed like a popular spot.

What a lovely spot! Very picturesque and quiet, you can hear the sound of the waves as you sleep at night and there is a very nice easy headland walk as well that features absolutely stunning views of the ocean. Facilities include toilets but not showers.

We spent a couple nights here in a tent on some weekdays and it was amazing. Not crowded, beautiful sunrises, not many annoying animals. We had a nice breeze up the cliffs that kept the smell of the WC but I could see this being annoying. We didn’t have many day trippers but it’s a very small space.

Great spot, shame its so difficult to get information on things around the area. The 4wd Beach access track nearby is closed up with big rocks which wasn't made publicly available.

Fantastic location. However the sites aren't even and have a bit of a lean. Toilets have seen better days but for the money good value. When we woke up there was a kangaroo hopping around the site!

Beautiful little spot. Only 10 sites surrounded by trees and wildlife perched above the ocean. Great location to get away from it all. Really relaxing Bring your own water. BBQ and pit toilet facilities.
