Great concept for a birthday party (which is why we booked) but after having my daughters eighth birthday party there I would like to warn others before they book.Joy arrived almost ten minutes late, so we were standing out the front with guests wondering if I had booked the correct date. Party was booked from 10 to 12. Joy then ran around opening up and setting up while we waited outside.I noticed that there wasn’t much food for 11 children. Few small handfuls each of corn chips, pretzels, cookies and popcorn. The children were hungry and things weren’t topped up at all. It was quite embarrassing to say “no sorry there is no more food”. Small lolly bags were provided at the end this was the “gift”.The art aspect of the party was good (the girls were happy) but there wasn’t much instructionor interaction, with the children copying joy as she drew from the front.The party then finished half an hour early with joy standing around on her phone. We weren’t sure what to do so waited out the front for parents to pick up their children.I am incredibly disappointed considering we paid $40 per child for a two hour booking that went for less than and hour and a half. Snacks were included in the price apparently but the amount that was given was not enough.If you do decide to book a child’s party here bring your own party food but at $40 you really shouldn’t have to.When booking at a trampoline park for instance hot food is included at this price range. $36 per child for a two hour party.

Just started the second year of learning oil painting and water colour painting with Joy. Teacher Joy is very talented, professional and kind. She was so warm hearted and patient to all the student and offered much much more than a good teacher. She took time to understand the characteristic of each student and help them to find their own path of drawing. In her class you could really find your drawing technique is improving and harvest a lot of fun.

We have been coming to Soul Art School for nearly a year now, we loved Joy who often went out of her way to help her students to find their potentials. Joy is really kind and patient, also talented. We feel fortunate to have found a really good instructor for our child. If you are looking for a place to learn painting and drawing, I highly recommend Soul Art School.
