Ordered the bronze whaler and small chips on Tuesday night. Have to commend you on just how good the fish was. Really fresh, perfectly cooked and batter was perfectly crisp. Chips were really good also. I've waited quite a while here in the past but probably due to the bad weather it wasn't so busy. Staff were very friendly also. Going to try the base snapper next time as the reviews are good. Have had the whiting and red emperor before and were also very good but that was a few years ago. Glad to see the consistency. The cleanest fish and chips in Perth. Nice golden batter which is thin crispy. You can tell the oil is regularly replaced and kept clean unlike other chip shops.Great family business and service is top notch.Will definitely be our new local!

Ordered whiting and chips for 2 and crab sticks, tasted amazing and was good value. Could barely get through it, great amount of whiting. Will be back. Thanks guys!

Finally checked out why everyone recommends this place and we weren't disappointed. Everything was crispy, tasty but not oily. Excellent value for money.

Was very disappointed tonight. Ordered tonight at 7:10 and picked up 25 minutes later. The grilled fish was barely cooked and was clearly put on the grill right from a frozen state. It was a thin fillet like eating rubber. Honestly!This is not how you cook fish.With the high prices we pay, is it too much to ask for unfrozen, local grilled fish when you order Fish and Chips these days? Or are we all expected to be mugs and just cop it?Will do it myself next time.
