I just wanted to let the public of Australia and whomever around the globe know, the value of 5 star customer service! Our recent interaction with the young and extremely friendly Jakelin at the front counter of Southport courthouse, meant we could process and understand a typically overwhelming situation. Her relaxed and efficient nature is something to marvel! Congratulations on having a star employee as the face to greet and assist you with professional insight. From a very grateful client.

I have had reason to call several times, each time I have been treated with courtesy and very polite

Absolute waste of state funds used by idiots with no respect for the law system or themselves. Well suited for for locality in which they reside and population they represent

Over the years have attended here for many different reasons, but the review I need to focus on being overall being dealing with the children's court". They're so unprofessional & don't deal with matters properly as the parents don't hardly EVER get their say given they submit countless affidavits & with or without legal representation-it all seems to automatically go in favour of the other side being"Department Of Child Safety". "DOCS"appear to despite their lack of evidence & at best flimsy details they get orders granted without any proper consideration of the content as if the parents' affidavits were considered not to mention let them have their say it'd be a different outcome & so it should be! The same as just because it's a police officer talking doesn't mean that's "case closed" re the details they're submitted to court & neither do legal representatives automatically have the right to speak instead of the "average Joe" parents!"

Absolutely useless. I can't even get directions on where to get court documents from. They want me to provide photo ID in an email. They act like they care for people's privacy but this is a breach. I have worked in finance for nearly a decade and even I myself no better then to ask for such thing via email. A simple phone call asking ID questions should be enough. If they don't have my contact details then they are just useless. Relying on getting documents in the mail is a gamble. Court is a big deal and can affect people's lives significantly so we as individuals attending court should be taken more seriously. I have made a large number of phone calls wanting to know court dates and what court room and what court room is for what matter and I have been told to speak to prosecutions who doesn't even manage the courthouse or decide when court dates are made. If you don't like your job or other people, go get a different job where you don't have to deal with people and to those in management, teach your staff. They never seem to know anything.

Security staff were lovely. Once you pass them it is all down hill. No justice in the kangaroo court.

Honestly the rudest people I've ever had to deal with. I've had to handle these people for the last year and I've only ever had one person who actually assissted me and didn't just shove me off with some excuse. You people work with the public, you should be learning some customer service skills and stop being rude and lazy towards everyone single person who comes in your office.

Yesterday I attended at the Registry to inspect documents in a Court file. The staff member could not have been more helpful. She was prompt and efficient, making copies for me. An excellent service.

I had to lodge a QCAT application and the staff were so helpful and very nice, and the officer checked through everything carefully. The whole process was quick as well.
