Wouldn't recommend coming here, the pasta is well below average, I needed to add about 100 grams of salt just to add some flavour, really disappointed. My guest also shared the same view.

If they had option more that 5 that’s what they deserve. These chef is like an artist....every single food we ordered is better than the other one.....best Italian place across Australia hands-down

The reviews are not wrong. This place is absolutely deserving of 5 stars. The food is phenomenal, we had Pork Ragu and Squid Ink Pasta with prawns and they were some of the best pasta dishes I’ve had, and I have eaten at a lot of top pasta restaurants.

We came here with the fam. all the way from ADL SA to watch Geelong play footy, and escape our busy lives for a weekend away. The Pearl was recommended by a friend, so we went, and with no regrets.Wow, what an awesome restaurant to have some incredibly tasty food and wine, prepared and served by super friendly staff all in a very relaxed atmosphere. A must go to restaurant while visiting Torquay. Well done.

Very crowded space. Ordered the caprese salad to split. Nup. They had run out. What Italian restaurant runs out of tomatoes and mozzarella? Both our pasta dishes were watery and virtually tasteless.....very below average. Service was very poor....blame that on understaffing. We were brought the wrong bottle of red wine.....blame that on us for not checking. It was Victorian vs. DOC Italian....it was like a grape was waved over a bottle of water....couldn't even finish it which is a first. Unfortunate experience.

Super cozy spot with the most delicious pasta’s - they change regularly and are on the blackboard not menu’s - huge portions and well priced - garlic break was delightfulNice wine selection too - so glad I was recommended to come here!

Wow. What an amazing little restaurant. The food is amazing. The pasta is super fresh with some really well thought through combinations and not just your normal Italian fare. Some super tasty starters and a great quality wine list. I highly recommend it.

Amazing authentic Italian restaurant in Torquay. I have dined in Italy and this would have to be the best pasta in Australia by far and a very close second to Rome! The Oysters were divine and the olives too. We had Fettucini with Roasted pumpkin and Pappardelle with beef. The meals were so fresh, very filling but didn't leave us feeling heavy like some pastas can. Great service, a real gem in Torquay!

Cosy, modern decor seating around 25 and serving Italian inspired pasta dishes. Great service and food. Rich and hearty flavours prepared in an open kitchen by a single, obviously talented, chef. Worth booking ahead to ensure you can get a table. The owners apparently also own The Stoop"
