Worst moving service in Melbourne, they make the job drag on for way too long, can barely speak English, are dirty, don’t have any respect for personal belongings, on top of that they were an hour and a half late to on arrival and it took them an hour to do a 20 minute drive. Do not and will never recommend these people

Dealt with Cassie from Easy Way Moves during booking; turned out Alice and Asky Movers were handling the whole moving. Even the phone number provided under Easy Way Moves belong to Asky Movers - a proxy/front?Please read reviews under Asky Movers (2.8 out of 5 stars), the negative reviews are spot on. Extra hidden charges by the movers ($200/person for staircase charge), and truck damaged our house fencing. Spoke to Alice, she said we need to make full payment before they repair it. Looking at Asky Movers reviewers, doubt it will happen. Other than this very bad experience, the work was acceptable.I rarely give bad reviews, but this company deserves it. Will post the same comment in Easy Way Moves.

Firstly they forgot my top after the range microwave, then promised to courier it to me (6hours away). That never happened. All my white furniture is marked with the brown tape they used, when I asked how to get it off, was told to go to Bunnings (90mins away) and by glue remover, got it locally $29. They also ruined a bar stool. I paid them cash in an envelope, he came up to me and said it was $50 short, it wasn't but I was exhausted so rather than continuing to ague i gave him another $50.I was due to move on a Monday, on the Sunday they rang demanding $700 in their bank immediately or they would not turn up the following morning. I don't do internet banking so had no way to do it so they settled, eventually to $300 on Visa(all I had). I had spoken to her at least 4 times before and on each occasion asked if they wanted a deposit and was told NO.Also they arrived at my new place nearly 3hrs late, said they had engine trouble.Then demanded another $700 for fuel as the first $700 was just for one way, first time I heard of it.Since the move on Jan. 16thI have tried to contact them but a recording on their phone says calls are restricted. I tried a different number and the foreign woman said she would get someone to call me. WAITING!

Cassie was helpful and responsive when I contacted her to arrange the moving service. I expected the job to take around 2 hours as I had moved my own furniture before with a friend and it took less than 2 hours.However, the movers I received were extremely inefficient and wasted time in every possible way. To begin with, despite scheduling the job for 2:30-3:00 pm, the worker arrived at 12:30 pm, two hours earlier than expected. This caused some trouble with the building manager as I had to adjust my moving booking. During the work, they frequently stopped working after every trip between the house and the truck, and sometimes one of them would stay in the truck while the other worked alone. They loaded the trolley with little pieces when they could have loaded more, and sometimes they wouldn't even use the trolley to carry things and waste as much time as possible. I even had to ask the guy sitting in the truck to get off and help his co-worker. To make matters worse, when I asked them to take the washing machine downstairs where the laundry connection was, they refused unless I paid extra.I only hired this business for a light job as I am currently fasting and cannot do much physical work during the day. However, I ended up moving and sweating more than the movers themselves. They will give you a low hourly rate quote, but waste time to make you end up paying much more than if you went with a decent business with a higher hourly rate. I highly recommend that you save your money and avoid this business.

THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS. DO NOT USE THEM. IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS, I WOULD. We used them over 4 months ago now but we still haven’t gotten around to reviewing yet and I am still reeling by the experience. Worst experience ever. They didn’t show up at 8.30am as planned. No communication, messed us around so badly it should be illegal to even operate a business like this! We had to vacate our rental by midday yet they didn’t even show up until AFTER midday! They were FOUR HOURS LATE. Completely unprofessional manner, complaining non stop, damaged our mattress (and that was the least of our worries! We thought that was the one thing that wouldn’t get damaged!)Plus they were passing heavy things onto other people like my father who is no spring chicken to carry things so they didn’t have to!Worst experience of my life.

I had used this provider a few years ago and had no complaints so I went with them again - WORST IDEA! They were originally booked for 8am, then at 830pm the night before they asked if they could move it to 10am. The driver called me at 12pm to say they were on their way to my storage unit. By 2pm I was still waiting around for them to arrive (they were to go to my storage unit and then meet me at the house). They didn’t arrive to my place until just after 5pm (it took them 4 hours to load the contents of a 3 bedroom house which was already stacked in a storage unit!). I received a call to say my TV was broken but the movers said it was like that when they got it - absolute rubbish! I had photos of how it was stacked (by them) in my unit and given the damage to the TV it had obviously fallen over. I sent these photos to Alice and she said she would look into it. Little did I realise that they had damaged a lot of things during the move - but the TV being the only thing that seemed worth the hassle of sorting out with them. They even managed to take a chunk out of the wall in front of me and when I pointed it out, they told me to just glue the piece back on. The cost was insane and took way too long.This was in May and I am still trying to have my TV replaced, I hear nothing from Alice when I follow up.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They shouldn’t be allowed to operate.

SAME COMPANY AS EASYWAY MOVES. I used them couple of years ago so I booked them again as they did a good job back then, despite the negative reviews on their previous name I still trusted them but I shouldn't have used them again!!*UNRELIABLE*-They called me the night before around 9pm telling me that the 10T truck I booked have broke down so they offered me a 6T truck instead but I did not accept it as the truck was too small. It's going to be hassle doing 2 trips so I had to reschedule.*UNPREPARED*-I told them I have furnitures and bed to be disassemble but they didn't bring any tools at all!!!! Mine was all packed so I had to run and buy tools for them to use.*UNPROFESSIONAL*-Scratch some of the furnitures they didn't properly stack them and didn't use the blankets properly.-One guy kept on complaining the whole time and he doesn't even want to assemble the bed.-When I made the booking I told them I have a massage chair that goes on 2nd floor and they agreed that it's fine to do but on moving day they refused to bring it up.*UNORGANISED*-The boxes were all properly labelled on which room they have to go but they just dumped it all the garage. I told them where things has to go but they kept on saying they'll do it later and didn't end up happening as they just been complaining again.-Boxes that are fragile they don't even know how to handle and not stacking them properly.I contacted Alice but left unanswered. It was a very stressful move. SUCH A TERRIBLE COMPANY. PLEASE AVOID THEM AT ALL COST!!!

Was provided a quote by this company and we booked them for the 2nd of June. All the details of the move were made very clear to them. Two men arrived on the day, late and then one of the men left as soon as he arrived.The other guy said he will return soon and went outside and started smoking. An hour later, he informed us that the other guy will infact not be coming back but he is happy to do the move if we pay him in cash... which was dodgy from get go.On refusing this, he made us wait another hour suggesting another replacemnet will be coming. Nobody arrived yet again.Two hours , he said they will send a new team and we should just wait. Later around 3pm we were informed that nobody was coming. We had booked the movers for 8 AM and they did nothing but waste our time and add stress during the move.They were extremely unprofessional, had poor communication and dodgy. If you see their other reviews you will hear similar horror stories hidden amongst the odd good review ( which i assume is fake).Theyre an absoluet scam so please do not book them!

If you don't want stress or headache, don't go with these guys. Booked for 8am arrival, was told the night before their truck broke down so can only come at 12pm, then almost 12om, said 1pm and will be done by another company and there is additional $50 per person because there are stairs which was originally included in the quote. They eventually cancelled the booking and didn't come at all. So we washed the whole day and AL for the planned move that was completely ruined by these guys. If I could give negative feedback, I would.

Stay away!!!! booked a moving with cassie, confirmed that they can provide balcony lift for extra cost - 40 - 60 dollar per item. I provide the detail of the item and got confirmation they are able to do the job.I got a phone call the night before the moving, at around 9:30pm, saying the movers might not be able to do the lift, they can only tell after they checked. I was called fussy because I said if you arent sure if you can provide the service you should not have promised and left me with no time to look for another removalist.The removalist arrived 45 mins late and wouldnt answer messages or phone calls. The item I wanted to move from the balcony was left behind. Driver arn't familiar with the road, they arrived at the address 30 mins after I did.Driver parked at the front yard lawn and the truck sank into the lawn, totally damaged my front yard, didn't even apologize let along providing any compansion. They said they charged me 30 mins less as a favor but then it took them more than 45 mins trying to get the truck out. It was the totall disappointment. Very bad service, dodge company. Stay away.
