Pleasantly surprised by this small wildlife sanctuary. Lots of friendly wildlife to feed - we even got to feed some pademelons! So cool to see tassie devils roaming around at feeding time. Well worth the visit

Had a great time here. Friendly staff and good tour guide around the animals. Was good to see the Tasmanian devil feeding time and learnt a lot about them. Friendly kangaroos that eat out of your hand. They were really friendly. Some of the birds, cockatoos and parrots, will talk to you as you walk through the enclosures. They were very cute. Just about all the animals are rescue animals and look very well kept and healthy. One of the best animal parks around and not a zoo. There is a big difference. Had lunch in the restaurant which was very good. My partner and daughter both had a burger which had a freshly made patty and fresh salad. Excellent value for $10 each. I had wedges with chilli sauce and sour cream which was also great value at $8. Coffee was good and the gift shop wasn't too expensive for a tourist place. Quality shirts starting around $25 which is pretty good for a gift shop. Can remember the park entry price being reasonable but can't remember how much exactly. Is worth visiting as it's more of an animal sanctuary and not a zoo. Feed bags for the animals only cost $1 at the shop. It's worth getting a few bags to take around as the kangaroos always seem to want more and there a plenty of them. Great experience for young kids as the kangaroos are patient and friendly. They love a good scratch and rub behind the ears. Would visit again when in Bicheno.

Small place great value, knowledgeable staff. Most of the animals are resuce and old pets and they help with the university research. The devils in the dark was such a cool experience. During the day is a awesome up close experience. Thanks Natalie, you need a raise.

Reasonably priced for families and the kids absolutely loved the experience, the talk for the devils feeding time was great!! The devils are quite shy and run off into the logs with their food but well worth watching them grab it and staying for the talk!

Not enough people are talking about this place. There's a great souvenir and gift shop as you enter as well as a cafe for all your food and drinks needs.Huge range of animals in the grounds including Tasmanian Devils, wombats, birds, reptiles, kangaroos, emus, and more.We were lucky enough to be there at 2pm for the feeding of the Devils. The keeper knew everything there is to know about Devils. Very informative. The staff were all very friendly and obviously love the animals.Check it out.
