A must visit - have been a fan ever since they opened in 2019 because it’s a treat to come through. They always have a great rotation of unique flavoured lamingtons, onigiri, and good coffee. Min, Eddie and team always make sure you’re taken care of. Cosy little spot and sometimes have a variety of other products available like glasswear and groceries.

Small and quaint.We order two different lamingtons, fairy bread and pavlova. Both were delicious, very sweet and the cake part was fluffy. One lamington can be shared between two or even three people otherwise you might feel sick trying to eat all of one.Tea was served in beaker glasses, which was cool.Good customer service, lovely decor, enough seating for maybe 3-4 people inside and only a few more seats outside.

3.5 ⭐️ I was super disappointed in the charcoal pumpkin as it had very little pumpkin flavor and the cake itself was very crumbly. The fairy bread popcorn was better flavor and texture wise but I really feel this place is a bit overhyped. Maybe worth trying once

Finally got to try Tokyo Lamington and my experience was disappointing ! We had the fairy bread lamington, watched the lady pull it out of a fridge - yikes (what happened to fresh) and then microwaved it to warm it up. It was not fluffy or soft like you would expect a lamington to be. It was still cold even though she microwaved it and it was dense, we didn’t even finish it!! So disappointing as I’ve been looking forward to it for so long. Service was OK, not friendly and coffee was good. Not worth the trip.

My friend and I made a visit to Tokyo Lamington, it was our first visit. We had tried their lamingtons before from another cafe.My friend and I shared the Snickers lamington (classic sponge, with chocolate caramel cream and peanut butter filling and coated in chocolate), and the Rainbow lamington (ube sponge, mango mousse, strawberry sponge, dipped in white chocolate and coated with rainbow sprinkles). Both lamingtons were exceptionally delicious with each lamington having soft fluffy sponge cake textures and not too sweet flavours, my favourite was the Rainbow lamington.In my opinion, Tokyo Lamington make the best lamingtons, I cannot wait to visit again soon!

Great coffee! Love the bacon & edamame quiche! Interesting sausage rolls ingredients but bit too strong meaty flavours for me. Matcha lamington is good. Chocolate lamington is bit too sweet for my liking. Minimalist design – limited seatings.

Conveniently ordered 4 lamingtons online for pickup at the store which is very cute and cozy. I ordered the pumpkin, matcha, yuzu & the OG to celebrate my mum’s birthday. They packaged it in a really lovely box, with a handwritten note. The pumpkin flavour wasn’t very pumpkin-y and the OG honestly isn’t the best lamington I’ve had before. However, I am OBSESSED with the yuzu flavour - it’s moist, spongy, citrusy and fresh.

I was having very high expectation after watching master chef.Ordered three different flavours, was quite disappointed.The matcha strawberry one: very mild matcha flavour, can barely taste it, the strawberry cream is the only thing I can taste, and the texture of the cake taste like overnight cake, not very fresh. We took away and eat it within 1h when arriving home.The tres leches one: overly sweetThe yuzu meringue: this is probably the best one out of all three we have ordered , however it is definitely not “wow” level of lamington that you would pay $9 for each.

This was my first ever lamington experience and it didn’t disappoint! We got the OG and the Tres Leches. Great combo of creamy and chocolate-y.There were quite a few people already on a Sunday morning which is testament to its delicious treats!It’s a quiet street. Perfect to sit outside and enjoy.
