I went to this school and now I'm sending my kids here. It's a beautiful campus, inclusive community, amazing facilities and being a K-Y12 the kids have a very strong connection with it over their whole schooling experience.

As a parent who has had children at Newman, I do not recommend this school. Newman is catholic in name only, and, like so many 'catholic' schools these days, is all just about social justice causes. I recommend that you save your money on school fees and send your kids to Churchlands High down the road.

The community is welcoming and warm. Children are well supported and families made to feel included. The school knows what it wants to achieve, and has a plan to get there.

Great school, I think I just had a pretty tough year and never did any homework. Lots of bullies in my year, and I ended up bullying others as well because I was bullied myself and messed up. The school itself is good, but make sure you communicate with your kids, nobody ever asked me if I was OK. The teachers don't care if you are getting strangled, threatened or bashed (ever). School was much safer once I was in a group for protection (by year 9) - more or less.

Miss Elloy most useless teacher at the school going out in the middle of class to buy groceries, said the n word and along side spitting in a kids tea and also biting a student on the arm.
