Just fantastic! We stayed with our three kids in Winter who had a blast feeding the cows, sheep and alpacas and wound down in evening in the super large spa. Such a cosy house with a real homely feel. So lucky to have found something so close to Melbourne... Highly recommend. We will be back.

We just spent the long weekend at Hoddles Hideaway. The house was perfect and had everything we needed including a fire pit and spa bath set in beautiful scenery with cows outside our window. Felt like we were in the middle of no where yet accessible to everything the area has to offer - good food, walks and outdoors!

We had a lovely time over Christmas. Very peaceful. Loved the bird and animal life. We cooked all our meals cos that’s what we like to do, but if you want to eat out it is a bit too far away down a gravel road. Accomodation and bathrooms were great but there was no laundry facilities.

Such a beautiful property, so quiet and peaceful it was the perfect place to relax and recharge! Kath the owner was so lovely and helped us with everything we could possibly need. Plenty of space and the fields around are stunning, also close to great hiking trails and lovely cafes a short drive away. Can’t recommend it enough!

My girlfriends and i wanted a weekend away to celebrate out 30th and hired this little farmhouse. It was adorable, but far less private than everyone states. the owners of the property popped by several times, and hung around our area a lot.it was a problem that we used the two beds and the foldout couch, as one of the girls had the flu and didnt want to get our other friend sick, this was an issue because apparently four people means two couples.and it was certainly not peaceful, the owners and their kids could be heard shouting for much of the weekend. All four of us have our own houses, and three of us have kids, if we had have wanted nosy neighbours and shouting kids, we could have stayed at home for free. Also, they may advertise spa baths, but then tell you not to use the water as they have limited supply. And whatever nasty chemicals they put in their water turned two of the girls highlights green....beautiful setting and nicely furnished but with little else to recommend it.

Love Hoddles Hideaway so much we recently went back for our 3rd stay, can't keep away from the place! Kath and Mark are great hosts and the cottage and surroundings are just so beautiful. Peaceful, nourishing, perfect... we will be back.

I could not recommend this beautiful place enough! If you're looking for peace, serenity and complete privacy then look no further than Hoddles Hideaway. The house was absolutely beautiful, exactly as pictured in the photos, and the views were amazing. My hubby and I spent one night there and the worst part was having to leave the next day! I love that you can tour the farm and see the animals if you'd like, but if you want to be left alone in privacy then that's exactly what you get. Everything we needed to cook dinner and breakfast was available, and the downstairs bedroom was great, with a small deck and sky light window so you can look out at the views from the comfort of the queen sized bed.All in all it was the best night away we have ever experienced, and we cannot wait to return for another night of serenity!

My stay at Hoddles Hideaway was a great little get away. The accommodation is well appointed and very functional. Waking up and collecting eggs from the chickens was a delight. The area is full of wildlife and there are some farm animals to interact with. At just over an hours drive from the Melbourne CBD I will definitely be back again when I need to escape city life and recuperate.
