The ladies that packed did a good job and gentlemen that picked up furniture were fantastic very considerate and careful. The only downside to our experience was furniture drop off which was done very rapidly boxes placed in wrong rooms and some furniture dragged across concrete garage floor. Apart from that Bay Removals delivered excellent service

Would not recommend this business as we had an extremely stressful unprofessional & dismal experience. Many of our prised possessions were either missing or damaged. Turned up with their children under 12yrs of age to unpack after we paid over $1000 to do so . Running through the house & jumping in & out of my brand new boat.After complaining to Jo the so called manager she was rude & no help at all , basically told us to go through insurance but most of my wife’s belongings we did not have receipts for or were purchased yrs ago .All up we’re about 8 grand out of pocket with most of the losses we can’t reclaim or replace.After 7 weeks we are still waiting for several expensive items to be delivered to us that they left behind.Very poor service, bullying tactics & disrespectful

Good experience. Moved from Hawkesbury to Batemans Bay. Punctual, efficient, friendly guys. Respected my belongings & wishes. All delivered intact the next day, including my piano I was especially worried about & a large glass aquarium! Also drove up to view & quote on my items beforehand. I would reccommend this firm.

Broken bookcase, the back ripped off my washing machine. At least they found the missing piece. I would not use them again.

They damaged my newly sanded floorboards. Bay removals had moved my gym equipment out of the gym so that the floor boards were sanded and coated. On moving equipment back into the gym they managed to place a big drag / scratch through the floor boards. It took numerous calls before they answered back and either myself, my builder or the flooring team. They then made up excuses putting the blame on me. They lied that I said they were not to use their trolleys, which they did. They stated I asked the removals to remove there workbooks which is a OHS issue, but I wasn't aware and there employees never stated this. I am sure they have insurance to have covered the damage but they preferred to take this path instead. They were overpriced compared with another removals but time constraint made me choose this mob. The whole exercise was to have my floorboards revitalised but at end it was an expensive venture with a noticeable mark on the floor. I have seen that there are similar complaints especially about a piano.

I asked over months,for a reconciliation invoice, NEVER CAME. I was quoted $50a week for storage,after I accepted, and container arrived,it went to $55 all of a sudden,Oh,This was for double handling.What double handling? They didn't let me put a Padlock on my container ,and drove off! I had to drive to Moruya, the next day as, they for got a Fire Surround. When I arrived Duncan had the Container ,at the back door almost,I thought it funny ,as it was opened ,and a large blanket was hanging Infront of what I thought was my Furniture and Boxes,I should have looked? Again Duncan said you don't need a lock,I will put it up,on second level between two others,and proceeded to use forklift to move it.Continued to ask for invoice,as the price changed a couple of times!I contacted Bay Removals a couple of times,to inform them some of my Possession,were not here and I had bits of others. I was told to unpack all,then call back, so I did.. I contacted them again,Duncan answered,after telling him ,he said we put a lock on. It together,at no time did I ,with anyone else put a lock on the Container my possessions were stored in. I told him I did mentioned this to an ex Police Officer as ,I was, informed that someone was going to go through my things, the day after it was packed,it frightened me ,this Gentleman said oh ,they are pretty good,don't worry ! After hearing this Duncan yelled at me and hung up.I have tried to ring and the outcome was,Duncan had Barred my phone,I sent an email ,with no responseSo much has gone and so many items only half here.I do have Photos of some things that were taken .Next, is a SolicitorThankyou,Bay Removals the Husband that Delivered my things ,was very nice

A very poor customer service experience. One of the truck drivers hit my car while driving across the Anzac Bridge in Sydney. Very minor but unsettling none the less. The driver continued to drive so we were unable to change details, so I called their office to sort everything out. The receptionist (Lyn) told me I was lying, it was my word agains their drivers and that she would tell her manager but nobody would be calling me back. An unbelievable experience over what didn’t need to be a stressful experience. After 4 calls and 3 emails to the company, I never heard back.

I have many items missing... vintage magazines.. trinkets. They helped themselves to my belongings. Totally took advantage of my situation... Don't trust these people!!! The account was Wesley mission. Like I said it was a trying time for me...I am very saddened by my missing items.... The magazines were bequeathed to me.. the trinkets were Lead lighting features my kids have me...my name was not on the account..it was Wesley mission.. I have unpacked all boxes and many items are missing. My grandfathers rock and gemstone collection, ornaments, a rock and precious gemstone collection that I paid $52 a month for over three years!!! They also didn't put the bed together properly...the centre slat was missing and consequently all the slats fell out at 310am causing me a back injury....I am so upset that they took advantage of my situation... I should and probably will start legal counsel and action for the recovery or compensation for my loss!! Don't trust these people!!!!

I have now had two local removals with Bay Removals in the last four months. On both occasions, they provided a very reasonable quote within 24 hours and really put themselves out to accommodate my time-frame. Thank you, Simon.My not particularly valuable belongings were treated with great care and respect. The young men who did the actual moves were very pleasant and friendly.So if you are are in your seventies and you are past hauling furniture in and out of houses, you really can't go past Bay Removals.
