A very well constructed and maintained bird hide. No water close to the hide when I was there. I saw some birds in the evening swooping around for insects though. I look forward to when the lake fills with water. So quiet and peaceful here

Overgrown grass means you legit can't see anything. No view to the water or any birds.

Great place to see and photograph the local bird life. Board walk out to it is a little wonky and needs some attention.

Good bird hide structure but too low to have a view of the bird life on the water. Better views outside of bird hide.

I like the idea of a bird hide, however, you need to bring some binoculars to be able to see the birds. There seems to be plenty birds of different species but difficult to see because of the distance

Used to be great,but the reeds have been allowed to grow too high,and,when contacted about it,the Lions Club passed the buck. I've been going there for a decade and have seen many interesting things,but no one can see anything with 7 foot tall rushes blocking the view !
