We needed a barrier on a rear balcony to shield from the high wind on the fifth floor. I invited Balcony Shutters to quote on the job because they had installed similar products on other balconies in the building.This was the start of a very happy relationship! Vance was extremely efficient in the quoting process and gave us good advice. Better still, the quoted price was very reasonable and to our liking. Although we had to wait for the installation because of materials shortage, the communication between us and the company has always been clear, respectful and productive. Finally, when the shutters were ready for installation, we were without a lift in the building because of the recent flooding of the basement. Vance came and inspected the situation and decided it was just possible to carry the materials up the stairs (five floors!!!) We were impressed.The boys who then worked on the installation worked under extreme difficulty because of the steps but were determined to do the job properly. They did! Balcony Shutters have recently installed shutters to our alfresco area. We could not be happier with the outcome. We had the team from Balcony Shutters install some bi-fold shutters on an upstairs balcony. With some uncertainty over the ability for the fascia to support the weight of the shutters, we went through a design process with the team to ensure the weight of the shutters was suitably supported. We now have a product that is structurally robust. They improve the look of our frontage, provide new uses for that balcony area as well as better privacy for that area. Great job team!
