Teaz Hair

Whilst most salons will leave you with great hair when you're done, there's a few things Teaz does that completely sets them apart. The thing I love most is that they give you the full price upfront. There's no asking halfway if you want a treatment, then worrying it's going to cost you more at the end. You know the price from the get go and can then just enjoy the experience.The staff are great, and understand if you don't want to chit chat. There's no fake interest in you or forced conversation..the staff are all genuine and strike a perfect balance for me in terms of conversation and letting me be.Steph deals with my knotty curly hair really well, the brushing is nowhere near as painful as it should be!The coffees and tea selection is great, and I especially love the little extra treat you get with your drink.Onsite parking is so easy!All these things may not amount to great hair, but they add up to the total customer experience which, for me, is key in choosing a salon.The fact that my hair looks incredible when I walk out is also amazing :)

I had to find a new hairdresser, as my previous one was closing down her salon due to a new job opportunity. This was stressing me so much, because I know how difficult it is to find a good hairdresser. So, I was really hoping I would be happy with Teaz Hair, but unfortunately, I did not have a good experience. I went to have my regrowth done (scalp bleach, blond toner). However, I ended up with very yellow regrowth. It had never happened with my previous hairdresser.I was extremely disappointed because I was every busy. I was after a nightshift, and before another night shift. Then, I had an event next day- that is why I really needed to have my hair done. So, instead of going to any local hairdresser, I was driving there around 40 minutes, trying to squeeze my hair appointment into my super busy schedule. I really believed they were a good choice, and I would be happy with my hair result. If only I knew it would be a waste of my time, because I still did not have nice hair for my event.The most annoying thing was that they knew my hair turned yellow, because they could clearly see it, and they were all checking my hair when they were washing it and whispering between each other without saying anything to me. So, it was very obvious that something was not ok. But instead of telling me, they were just quiet, probably hoping that I will not say anything. I was waiting for the final result, still thinking it might end up somehow pretty good, but it was not. When I told them that my hair was yellow, Steph’s reaction was also very awkward, she was like ‘’Oh, does it look yellow to you? We can put something on it then.’’ Which meant, to dye it again, wash it again, dry it again. After over 3 hours I had already spent there, I told them I could not stay any longer.Then they gave me some purple mask or whatever it was, to put on my hair when I wash it. They said it is very strong and will cover the yellow shade. Of course, I could not wash my hair the same day, so I just went for my event with that ugly yellow hair, which everyone could very easily notice. The hair was even very frizzy, and not straighten properly, so I just had to tie it up. When I washed my hair after few days, I used their purple thing, but it did not work at all on the yellow part of my hair.I am just very disappointed. With my previous hairdresser, I paid much less money, and my hair was perfect. Perfect color, perfectly straight, I never had any issues at all. Also, what is the point that you can pick up a hairdresser on their website, when at the end everyone ends up doing your hair. My hair was done by all three girls, whoever was free at the time came to do whatever was the next step in my appointment.It is a nice salon as such; they keep offering you a drink, and Anastastia was extremely nice and welcoming. But to be honest, if I could choose, I would prefer a hair result that I paid for instead of a cup of tea. Anastasia told me at the very end when I was paying that if the hair will be still yellow after washing, I can come back, and they would do it again. But the only thing I really want is to find a good hairdresser I can trust, not coming back to repair the poorly done job. Especially not if they cannot be at least honest and tell you that I am sorry but this and that happened, so this and that can be done. Instead, they just talk behind your back and think that you might not notice anything. Not the best practice!

Always a pleasure visiting Teaz! Quality stylists, quality products and good communication on what to expect your bill to be (and they recycle EVERYTHING!). Highly recommend.Additionally, great playlists, every single time.

Absolutley amazing colour and great cut. Tegan was amazing in consultation as well. Ensuring I knew how much I was up for before evening starting my hair which was refreshing I must say.The only thing was I had to take a call and there was only one other client in the salon and it was very loud. Except for that it was sensational.Easy to find too

Absolutely Amazing!Couldn't recommend this place more to be honest, they have an amazing atmosphere, phenomenal hair skills and lovely people! The service was impeccable, I was there for 6 hours and felt welcome the whole time, they got me a tea while I waited and refilled it when it got cold. Checked on me and chatted to me.

Love this salon and the staff here! Tegan did an amazing job and achieved my hair goals. She talked me through the whole process and explained all the products to me. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. I’m so unbelievably happy with my hair and can’t wait for my next appointment! Would recommend

Anastasia did a beautiful job bringing my hair back to life after a lengthy period of it being neglected. She nailed the brief giving me a fresh creamy and healthy looking blonde and I could not have asked for a better result. Affordable and upfront about the total price. I am so pleased I listened to the recommendations and gave Teaz Hair a go. Not living in Brisbane and will happily travel the 10 hours for my next freshen up ❤️ Thank you, Anastasia. Love your work!

Everyone was super welcoming and friendly. Anastasia did my hair, I went in for quite a big change and she exceeded my expectations! Was thorough and listened to exactly what I was hoping for. Couldn’t have been better, thank you! Will definitely recommend and will be coming back for sure!

Absolutely fantastic!Didn’t push products in your face, amazing at head massages and they give genuine ideas and helpful tips to looking after your hair.These ladies have saved my hair twice from horrific dye jobs and butchering hair cuts from other salons, wouldn’t go anywhere else now - also the little sweet treats you get with a cupa are insanely delicious :)
