March 2020.I’ve engaged many trades people over the years and usually don’t look forward to when I have to but Sako was the most perfect tradesman to work with I have every had.He was absolutely punctual.He provided a unique level of communication as to the status of things at every step of the way.He was very responsive to phone calls, SMS or email.He knew the process with council in great detail.He was completely transparent about every step of the way.I found he had a humble manner which made relating very easy.I really like that he both quotes and does the job – that’s a big plus for me.The whole process of him submitting application to council until completion was incredibly fast – about 2 weeks.His quote was very simple and all inclusive. Some quotes I got were many pages long and mainly covered obligations the customer had to the contractor in legalese. Others would not give cost of certain parts of the job until they started – effectively a blank cheque.He was very responsive when I asked for insurance Certificate of Currency – some contractors in the past when I asked for this said “Don’t you trust me” or “It’s a matter of trust”. No such rubbish from Sako.I had many questions and Sako was very patient and happy to answer all of them.He is completely absent of the ‘attitude’ I have experienced with many trades people over the years where they say things like “I’ve been doing this for x years so how dare you question me” – none of that from Sako.His quote was the lowest of 5 quotes I got.The whole family is very happy with the new driveway.I have no vested interesting in writing any of this – I’m merely relating my experience.To say I recommend him highly is an understatement.
