Beautiful spot for picnic and barbeque also can watch peacock some other birds and deers. Take beautiful pictures along the spectacular view of lake. Highly recommended this place.

Free camp with 3 long drop toilets building. BYO Camp-fire tub as No on-ground fires allowed. Grassy areas with views of the lake and a big skip for rubbish. Adjacent to the lake reserve and deer farm which you can see just metres from your van. Locals fish here so there must be reliable game. Quiet and not far from Griffith township. No dogs allowed. Didn't encounter any mosquitoes.

Nice peaceful spot. Plenty of bins and toilets. Ignore the bloke that is sleeping in his car telling people it is a paid campsite. He tried saying it is $30-$50 a night. Blue suv looks like traveling with two caravans. He and the random people doing loops makes the place feel unsafe. Would not leave stuff out overnight.

Very quiet spot, not many campers, actually more fishermen than campers, well maintained. Sites are not exactly flat rather on a hillside so careful placement is the key to getting your setup level. Clean facilities. Would come back gladly.

Great free camp ground with flushing toilets and running water (not for drinking). Quiet camp with great views of the lake. Beautiful sunrise

Beautiful spot, clean toilets although a sweepout of bugs would be gd but not really a problem. Lots of grass in campground showers facilities but not connected

Top and free campsite surrounded with lots of birds.Amazing view from the camp.Has barbecue, no drinking water and clean toilets.

What a relaxing spot! Great big area for campers. Lake outside your front door! Toilets and cold showers. All for free!!!! Everyone is missing out - we had the whole place to ourselves. There are yards with deer, chickens, peacocks, goats and a kangaroo for the kids to look at as well. Easy 10min drive to town and several wineries a bit further down the road.

Fabulous 72hr free camp 10kms out of town centre.The Lake is beautiful, and with all the rain lately, it's wonderful to see all the wildlife around. There's a farm of deer's to visit too.Sites are on a hill & slight incline. Toilets are well kept and cleaned by on-site manager.It's a good area to use pushbikes - only 10km to town. Road & bike path.Phone, TV & internet reception.I'm glad l found this place.
