Cleveland Rocks Cafe & Take Away
By far the worst fish and chips we have ever had. Only shop open in the area due to public holiday and after waiting 45 mins for just a serve of chips with calamari and fish the delay was unbelievable considering there were only 2-3 other customers in the shop the whole time we were there. After receiving our food, none of us could eat the any of the disgusting chips or calamari which was so full of oil even the seagulls wouldn’t touch any of it . Very annoyed.

Cleveland Rocks Cafe & Take Away
Visited here last week. We had a hamburger and steak burger with the lot. The filling was generous and tasty. We also got calamari and chips, which were also very nice. The staff was friendly and we didn't have to wait long for our order.

I don't know how this has such high reviews. We accidentally came here instead of another place we wanted to try.We went for lunch while it was mostly empty.We ordered chips and a burger and a salad roll.We were overcharged by $15 (got this refunded).We waited for 30 minutes.Staff were telling other customers that their orders would take 5-10minutes.We saw a lady leave and eventually return, claiming to have an issue with her order. We saw the staff repurpose this food by repackaging it for another customers order.By this point, we were waiting in line to request a refund.

The Burgers Rock. The decor is simple and helps to keep the prices affordable. You can eat in or there are some tables outside. I didn't find the traffic interfered with the conversation I was having with my Sis. It's the go to place for the locals. It is a small operation and I found the service to be lovely.

I ordered an Iced chocolate and it was made with Nesquick… plus it was $6.50. If i’d known this I would have just made it at home and saved bloody $7. lol

My partner and I were very disappointed with the quality of food received this morning. The veal & cheese, spring roll and chips were all burnt and cooked in oil that tastes like it is from last year. The bacon and egg burger was also a let down. The bacon was very thick, rubbery and uncooked. The egg was not cooked long enough and the runny yolk was everywhere and covered the whole bun. I only give 1 star because the cappuccino was half decent. Won't be going back.

My partner and I ordered 2 milkshakes & had to wait a whipping 45 minutes! Several other people ordered, had their food cooked & left, yet we had to wait 3/4 of an hour for something that tasted like watery, cheap flavour splashed into some milk. The worst part is, the drinks were warm/room temperature so I ended up getting ill.Tasteless food couldn't even be rescued by good service. Thumbs DOWN
