Low quality ingrediants and very stingy servings. The fried tofu and pork belly was pathetic, the pork belly was probably offcuts from what was left over and contained 90% fat. The beef brisket was substitued with heaps of raddish now and the lady server has probably the worst attitude of any worker I have seen. She is abrupt and never fills up your container even when you pay extra!!! This place deserves to go out of business!

I started my roast Peking Duck experience four years ago; since then, I almost tried a lot of duck menus around Sydney. I found this place had a fantastic duck menu. After COVID, I revisited this place couple of times. A lot has changed, especially the taste and increase in price. I'm surprised that I am the first person to submit a review here for this popular place!Located conveniently next to platforms to Hurstville station, this place is great for commuters to stop on the way home to buy something for dinner.We tried the roast duck here for the first time today and this place is just as good as the other famous roast duck shop in nearby Campsie.The meat was very tender, not too fatty and the flavour is just right (compared to some other Chinese duck places where they use too much Five Spice in the marinade).This place is certainly a delight and lives up to their name.

A DISHONEST BUSINESS! AVOID!Extremely rude boss!!!! I ordered duck and noticed that while the man was chopping it, he sneakily placed some pieces in the general lot to be resold again. When confronting his act, the woman (should be the boss) snapped back at me yelling that it does not matter and that it’s still their duck! I paid what I paid. This does not mean that you can remove pieces to be resold again!FYI, Usually when I buy duck, it is filled completely in the container. In this instance, it was notably less (missing the duck leg, and 5 other pieces) where it is barely filled. This is an extremely unscrupulous move. But not only that! Had the boss just own up to it, apologised and operated in a decent honest manner, I would not have written this review!!! You should be deeply ashamed of yourselves with your rude attitude and sneaky shameful tricks!If you want to buy duck, for your own good, go to the duck lane in Hurstville (ANY BUSINESS WOULD BE BETTER THAN THIS ONE!).If you want to buy takeaway, just head over to 7mile in Hurstville central (not far from this disgraceful business).AWFUL! SIMPLY AWFUL!!!!

I ordered the soy sauce chicken and there was still blood coming out of it. The boss lady insisted it was normal however the amount of blood I saw was definitely not normal and is a health hazard. I asked to changed to something else however she insisted to put it in the microwave and heat it up. When this was done the box became very hot and the plastic had began to deform. Very rude customer service as well, I will not come back again.

Ok food and price, but I got treated like a criminal!I bought a box from the hot food bar. At checkout, something went wrong with my credit card and I cannot pay. I said I will go home and get cash. The lady questioned my intentions of coming back and insisted that I leave my belonging there as guarantee. I haven't even touched the box of food. The food was in her hands the whole time.She took my bag and I went home to get cash to come back for the food and my bag.I feel so insulted and invaded.So if I didn't actually have enough money, is she going to make me stay there and wash dishes to pay for a meal that I haven't even touched?! (I'm sure at the point where my card was declined and the box is still in her hands, it isn't considered 'sold' and I don't owe the store anything)

This is my absolute favourite takeaway shop. The food is always both delicious and beautifully presented, especially the roast duck, BBQ pork, roast pork and salt and pepper pork. The portion sizes are large as well.Servers are polite and always ready to help. The shop is extremely clean.Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Hurstville.We are so fortunate to have this place next to Hurstville Station. Very convenient!!!
