Celebrating Abilities

My brother has Autism and an Intellectual Disability and was quite inactive until he met Margie.People with disabilities can face a myriad of barriers in a large gym atmosphere as it can be extremely difficult learning an exercise regime, not to mention the sensory overload issues with the equipment music and people.Thank goodness for Margie. She has helped my brother overcome these barriers with her 1:1 training, knowledge, patience and understanding. Margie is a very kind and generous person with a wonderful sense of humour that puts a smile on my brothers face every week!I have seen a real difference in my brother’s fitness and confidence which has been wonderful for both his general health and well-being and self esteem.I highly recommend Margie if you or a loved one needs help with any kind of fitness!

I support an intellectually disabled man. I had a lot of trouble finding fun stimulating activities for Sam, until we found Margie at Celebrating Abilities. We attend 2 sessions a week with Margie and it is the highlight of our week. Sam can’t wait to see Margie and do his exercises to “get strong”. She is kind, gentle, sensitive and adaptive to his mood. Sam, Sam’s family and I are all thrilled with his progress and the joy he gets from CA. Thanks Margie
