Fantastic place to visit and relax during the early morning and late afternoons and enjoy fantastic food in the casual style but exclusive food presented by the locals.

Small grass reserve with maintained gardens overlooking Freshwater Beach.Perfect for a sunny picnic or sunbathing, minimal shade and no amenities observed.Great for a selfie, or even a small event (e.g. party or intimate wedding) (check local council rules first)

Amazing view but lacking a BBQ or kids playground. I'd use it all the time if these were there. Also needs a lawn mow.

I maintain most foreshores, beaches and reserves between Manly and Dee Why so I enjoy rating them..This one is popular for wedding ceremonies and a great spot to take in the view looking north over Freshwater beach..Very small space with no amenities but still a special location..

Great place for a private partyExcellent view and ground for small partyThe spot is bookable through the local councilOne possible downfall or negative factor is not toilet facilities nearby.Perfect for that mid afternoon occasion .

A small reserve with lovely views. Faces north so you won’t get the sunset in the evening. Trees are a little high these days which means if you’re on a picnic rug the view is not as good. Plenty of friendly locals visit the park with their dogs.

Freshwater View Reserve
You enter this park through an unassuming arch in a high sandstone wall – it’s a little like a secret garden! Then you see the large flat lawn and beyond that the wonderful panoramic views of freshwater beach, Freshwater headland and Curl Curl beach beyond that. It has picnic tables and a fine planting of attractive flowering bushes which make it the perfect spot for an informal picnic with friends.

If you're walking from Queenscliff to Freshwater or visa-versa then take a little side trip and enjoy the view from this park.
