DELICIOUS FOOD! Went with my partner for a birthday degustation (5 courses) with wine pairing. I had luxury and he had pescatarian, and wow! Everything was so flavoursome and perfectly balanced and the wines were on point. We left very full and satisfied.Highly recommend. Thank you Caleb!

Spectacular food, polished and kind service, chef even comes out to have a chat to you. Caleb's merlot pick was very memorable too. So much attention to detail to both the restaurant and each dish - textures, temperature, flavors and presentation. We will be back for the rave-worthy burrata (with special request for additional bread to go with it haha). Will definitely consider cooking classes on Tuesdays too! The fine dining Groupon deal is definitely worth a try. Highly recommended. Thankyou for making our special occasion special.

Been here for my 30th birthday. Was not as impressed as I thought it'd be. It was wed night and literally were the only group for entire 2 hours. I felt worried even. Foods were nice in general very generous portions for a fine dining aspect which I loved about however Dishes felt copied and pasted right off the recipes as head chef or owner chef was present but rather focused on running a side gigs instead of paying attention to the kitchen of that night. Pasta (Ragu) was bit overcooked to my liking and by the time i had it half way they were too bloated. Oven baked ciabatta felt extremely dry as if they were frozen and reheated prior to serving (according to my wife whos been a patisserie for a decade) so we could not find any fascinating enjoyment of a ciabatta at all. Waiter was possibly the most clumsiest one I've ever been attended with from my fine dining experiences, poor lad seemed he was not trained well enough yet alone has any knowledge of fine dining etiquette. Overall worth a try place.

While I appreciate the effort to curate a vegetarian degustation meal, there were some serious shortcomings with th meal. The burrata while great tasting was absent of the emulsion drops. The accompanying bread is pretty disastrous. It's like a dry scone and when cutting into it, parts were flicking onto the table. The burrata in my partners plate also had two pieces of fluff. The arancini was good and the 'garden on a plate' was unremarkable. Again my partners plate had residue food on the underside of her plate.. the fourth course was a gnocchi. It was flavourless and to have 4 different sauces with the tiniest smidgen makes no sense and there was no flavour to the dish. Having balsamic vinegar or glaze on all dishes feels really misplaced and unnecessary. The dessert was probably the worst and yet again as pictured, more food on the bottom of the dishes. It's really not that hard to clean dishes properly. Overall, a disappointing meal but one that seems to have promise.

My new favourite restaurant !! Dined here last night with my girls, and was so impressed returned tonight with my love prior to watching The Addams Family stage show @ The Regal.. The staff, chef Caleb and food were all AMAZING!! The gnocchi are perfect texture, firm yet still light.. Oh and you must try the gluten free chocolate cake served with spiced jack daniel chocolate sauce !!

Chef Caleb what a wonderful down to earth and humble Chef who is on top of his game in Perth. Won best Italian restaurant and best Chef 2021 awards. Got a treat and managed to experience his hospitality and food.Got to say the food was pretty good with great service. Who said Subiaco is dead!! It is going to revive itself and be what it was used to be, a Mecca for good food!!

Went to have dinner with a group of friends. There were 8 of us with different entrees and mains, so quite a big order. The waitress asked for our order, and without a pen or paper, tried to memorize our order. After repeating, we realised she missed out a few things and made some errors. We corrected her, and she seemed to remember for the most part, so we assumed it was all okay.Our food started to come, and there was an extra dish we didn't ask for. It was sent back to the kitchen and they came back to give us the dish as complimentary. We didn't complain but we knew the waitress was pushing her limits before with her memory. The food quality itself was good.Mains came. Me and a friend ordered the $55 lamb rack" as medium rare but it came out as thin lamb chops which was different to what we expected. Hers was cooked perfectly. Half of my chops came out cooked but the other half was completely raw
