Almost walked out! Wish we had! Waste of time and money.This morning very rude lady from the start! Both daughter and I wanted a “re do” of our nails which previously had been done at this same establishment. Showed a picture of what we would like, and asked politely if we could have some help choosing the colours closest to the pictures but just had books shoved at us and told “pick a colour”. We both said similar to what’s in the pictures, if you could kindly help us to choose similar…NOPE! Just “pick a colour”…Even some fellow , I presume the owner kept shoving books at us saying the same…I even said to try and help things along, this colour already on my nails I really like so we can use this one again or something similar…NOPE. Hands on hips standing over us, muttering to her colleagues.That’s when we should have just left. Downhill even further from there. We said don’t worry about it, just a simple manicure and colour without the fancy stuff (did themselves out of more money too) because of the dreadful attitude of the lady. She proceeded to snatch at the hands while working and did an absolutely awful job. Lumps and bumps on the nails, rough edges and some of the nails crooked. Yes, we should have complained but honestly just wanted to leave. An all round dreadful experience. We will not be back.

I went here yesterday and I am utterly disappointed. The lady I got just rushed to complete everything. And when she was doing my finger nails, she was so rough while removing the shellac. It became too hot and hurt me a lot that my nails feel very sensitive even now. And while doing my spa pedicure. She got a hot stone out from the back and just brushed it against my legs once and that’s it. The finishing on my nails are so bad.. not even.. not smooth at all. Never going back.

It was the worst pedicure my mother and I had ever had! My water was cold the lady kept hurting my mother despite her asking her to be a little gentler. She was rude and the whole experience was extremely rushed. I have never been to disappointment. Their service was terrible and the pedicure itself was very poor. We will not be back!

Over charged me by $20 the price for an acrylic infill was meant to be $30 but she charged me $50 and when I asked why she yelled FIFTY at me and wouldn’t answer my question. I went 3 weeks prior to this and they charged me $40. THEY DO NOT STICK TO THEIR PRICE LIST and my nails are bellow average anyway.

Appalling experience. Went in and the lady who took care of me was rude from the start. Got mad at me when I couldn’t understand what she was asking me & was getting frustrated when I didn’t like the colour of the nails and I wanted to pick a new colour. I asked for help on what colour matched the picture I had shown her to match and she didn’t assist in the slightest and was getting rude and aggressive that I took so long to decide. Keep in mind I was literally the only customer left in the store. I asked for a SHEER pink or white and was left with what looks like white out in my fingers & when she put the colour on for the second time, she didn’t even ask if it was the right colour & proceeded to paint all my nails that colour. At this point she had made me so uncomfortable that I felt that I needed to just cop the colour she gave me as I couldn’t deal with her being so horrible to me again. I used to be a regular here, but after this experience, I will never return. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Rainbow Nails is my go to nail Salon, Kelly is the best!!!!! Great service, wonderful job everytime.The space is always clean, well set out, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

When I first walked in it seemed lovely. Everything was neat and it was reasonably empty. A nice lady greeted me at the door and told me 20 minute wait even though there were many employees sitting on their phone at tables. After a 20 minute wait I was told to sit down at a spa chair as I was getting my toenails painted. The lady ran the water and after it was full I put my feet in. I was glad as the sink I was putting my feet in had a plastic bag inside it. The plastic bag had a huge rip on the side and was not staying on the sink edge. The lady was quite nice and tried pulling it back up without success and she said it was all good. She did my toenails very nicely. After my toes I was told to go to a table to get my full set of acrylics. Another woman came and started doing my nails. Straight away I realised that this lady was not very polite. When shaping my nails she would smack my fingers instead of using words to tell me to relax my fingers. About halfway through my nails she received a phone call and completely left me for 10 minutes. After she got off the phone she came back to me and on the way a customer accidentally bumped slightly into her and she slapped them across the back without saying a simple sorry. After this she finally came back and continued my nails. The woman was finished one of my hands and was finishing off my other I got a very important text message and had to check my phone. I used my finished hand to pick up my phone and the lady yelled at me quite loudly and told me to leave my hand on the table even though it was completely finished. Overall not very good customer service however are talented at nails.Also sorry I don’t know how to respond to responses but yes I got my nails done at rainbow nails Chermside shopping centre

Was given clear polish when I had asked for a colour. When I asked to have it removed the cut I was given during the manicure reopened and blood was painted into the manicure. Only one coat of colour was quickly applied on my hands and looks totally sheer, even though my toes had 2 coats applied. I need the colour removed completely now as blood was painted into the nail and cannot be washed off.

It was my first time coming to this place, and it will be the last. I booked an appointment a week in advance for manicure and gel colour, when I arrived, she couldn't find my booking and asked me to wait for 15 to 20 minutes. Then the girl who did my nails was so rude and rushed to do my nails. The shape of the nails are not the same, and she didn't cover all the side of my nails. It is a bit bumpy, not smooth. I took those pictures the day after she did my nails.

Finally able to leave a review because I will never be going back. This place is a major hit or miss and some staff and especially the manager have no customer service skills at all and are extremely rude. The first time I went in for a full set of acrylic nails I had a great experience and loved my nails. Then I went back to have acrylics removed and a manicure, to remove my nails the lady ripped them off, no soaking and it was very painful but she did a great job on the manicure which made it worth it, she was also very friendly which I appreciate. This time I went for a full set of acrylics the lady rushed them and didn’t follow the steps they normally follow, she also cut my finger with the file 2 times. but the end result looked good so I paid and left thinking they would last at least 2 weeks, however the quality was not good at all and a nail broke only a few days after. I went back to get it fixed and they were busy understandably but the lady told me a different waiting time to others and the waiting time for a single nail was an hour which is a bit extreme to wait an hour for something that would take 15 minutes at the most. The manager has absolutely no customer service skills, because yelling at someone who paid for a service in which they received no quality is unacceptable. The salon is unorganised and unwelcoming. I Regret recommending this place to my friends as they have also been disappointed by the quality and the way they were treated. The manager did let me know that if you don’t like the service you can refuse to pay, so for anyone planning on going here, remember that for when/if you’re disappointed. It is evident that if you come back with an issue, they prioritise customers who haven’t already payed and refuse to refund. As I came back today and made a booking for 3:15 still wanting a single nail fixed and they let a girl who came in after me go first. I ended up waiting 25 minutes after the time I booked for a 13 minute service in which this lady was less rushed, however did not listen to me when I asked her not to touch my other nails as I do not trust them. she also used the wrong colour and just painted over it to fix it so it’s a bit bumpy but I’m just glad it’s fixed and I don’t have to deal with that experience again.
