Port Kennedy Glass

Do not deal with Michael. He took our large deposit 3 weeks ago to do a shower screen and then we never heard from him again and now have to contact another company to do the job and start all over again. They told me he has done this to lots of people.

My recent experience with Port Kennedy Glass was only positive. I have engaged this company on a few occasions now and have experienced prompt and courteous attention. I have been most impressed with the office staff and the fitters who carried out the work. They were on time, helpful, obliging and most friendly. I didn't request a quotation for the work I needed doing, but on receiving the account I was more than satisfied with the fair price. I am pleased to recommend this company. Thankyou for a very good job.

Had someone out to quote our back sliding door for security screen as our front door was done through same company just a few months earlier. Said he would be back within a week for the quote. Never heard a thing, despite numerous emails and phone calls that have now gone unanswered, months later. Not sure if the job wasn’t big enough or what the issue was, guess I’ll never know.

Port Kennedy Glass provided an excellent service in supplying and fitting security doors sliding doors and windows , as well as bathroom shower screens and mirror. All materials of high quality, and workmanship of impeccable standards. The installation crew were backed up by a very efficient front desk and customer service team who were courteous, helpful and always across the details and the timelines for our job. Would recommend them without hesitation.

Michael seems fine until you give them a deposit and then you can never get hold of them. Now out of pocket and having to find another company to do our shower screens. At do that having to put off other trades that were scheduled to follow on.

I had a similar experience to Chadd in another post. I had used this business many times in the past and they had been good. Seems times have changed. Gave quote and paid deposit for a shower screen door eight weeks ago with a promise of delivery & install in 3 weeks. I was able to contact Michael during this time and was told there would be a delay. Haven’t been able to get him since with no replies to phone calls or emails. Seems he is taking deposits and not delivering the goods. Checked today and found the business premises are closed and locked up and that the liquidators had visited the premises last week.Do not give this Business or Michael any money.

Really happy with the service here! Tom was out fixing my broken loungeroom window within a couple of hours of calling. And at half the price that I was quoted from other glass repair companies.Cheers guys!

Unfortunately after looking at the google reviews and feeling confident in what I was initially told at my first meeting regarding the time it would take to replace my shower screen, my experience was not great. I do understand that during these times there could be set backs and delivery delays however I was not contacted once (I had to consistently follow up). I feel there was a huge lack in communication on their behalf. I had a few appointments booked in which they did not show and did not advise me. There was also an unsettling conversation which I feel i should not go into at this time.

Michael came to fix a leak in my window. The window is still leaking and despite saying that he would rectify this, a month later he still hasn’t returned or made contact.
