i have been a satisfied customer of Vidlers beachfront store for many years. Recently i returned a Shelta beach umbrella ($89) to their main Cottesloe store on advisement from the friendly young lady at the beachfront store. Things went downhill shortly after entering the well stocked main store. The manager, Jess, was reluctant to accept a bank statement as proof of purchase, advised she may not honor the warranty and reluctantly gave a store credit. Listening to the customer is not Jess's way. Finally on enquiring on their replacement umbrella stock, Jess, with a dismissive wave stated they're all fabulous" and walked away. They were all Shelta's. My previous one lasted 7 well used years. So much for buying another purchase i had in mind. A most unpleasant contrary woman."

Bought a ripcurl wetsuit yesterday the guy insisted i was medium and not a large size. Used it at Trigg today, very glad i went with the medium!

I have always shopped at Vidler when in Perth for surf related supplies. I spent 10 minutes in the store with double the amount of staff to customers, with none of the staff helping/assisting any customers. Then once I had selected the items to purchase, I asked if they had Christmas wrapping and got a negative response. This is a simple service around Christmas time, especially from a store where a premium is paid on all products. The manager overhead the discussion and didnt step in or add any value. If you charge a premium, there should be a premium service. Posting one star, should be zero out of five.

I bought a Pyzel Ghost here, and the gyus treated me awesome. They helped me with the fins setup and made deck for free.

Vidlers has been a go to store for my clothes shopping for years now.Its always an enjoyable experience as the staff are very friendly and well trained in there product range.

I visited the store on a quiet Saturday afternoon. Looking for a wet suit. It was my first time trying wet suits.One of the sales young woman, Kate, was extremely patient with me showing me how to put it on and off.Kate suggested some hacks to put it on and off which were very helpful.That's why Kate definitely deserves 5 stars for excellent customer relationship !

I bought a wetsuit from these clowns. 16/07/2016The worst service I have ever experienced. The staff where more interested in their mobile phones than helping out. Their knowledge on stocked products was a joke and found them to be quite rude. I have been surfing for 35 years and been involved in the surf industry abroad. I don’t think I'll return easier to buy online.

Promised a full refund within 7 days. Once asked for they changed their mind and only offered a credit note.Ask for promised service in writing.

Massive choice of brands here, got exactly what I wanted, will definitely use again when I need something specific, would highly recommend!
