dusk Cairns Central

I bought a diffuser at dusk at around march of 2020. I got it on a good sale so I only paid $70 for a $110 diffuser. The diffuser broke in january 2021 and i went to get it replaced as it fell under the 1 year warranty. They had stopped selling the diffuser I had bought so I was told to just choose a different diffuser and pay the difference if there was one. There were no sales on at dusk so all the diffusers were at full price. The diffuser I wanted was $90 which is $20 cheaper than the diffuser I had just returned. Although, because I had bought it on sale I had to pay $20 extra for a cheaper diffuser which is ridiculous. I had to pay more for a cheaper diffuser and essentially lost 40$ because their product broke. Poor customer service.

I had the most amazing experience today at Dusk in Cairns Central. Because I had broken the glass covering of my diffuser, I went into the shop to see if I could purchase a replacement. To my amazement, they had a spare cover and gave it to me free of charge. I was astounded and so grateful to the lovely young lady who served me. Thankyou so much.

Top 3 things to know1) Located on the top level of Cairns Central, near the Telstra store.2) Staff make a point of greeting you, which I like, but they are never pushy.3) Large range of candles as well as candle holders, wax burners, diffusers, diffuser oils and gift packs.More- I just love this store. The look, the smell - everything. If you struggle with strong smells, it may not be the shop for you.

I think I preferred the stores before they were upgraded. The lighting had far more ambience and was very welcoming. Now it's very in your face and bright. Much prefer to shop online. Staff are nice though
