We hired Yarrabank builders for the renovation/extension of our traditional 1910 era weatherboard home in 2016. Our renovation consisted of a modern contemporary extension with lots of glass windows and doors built to a detailed architectural design and specification. It was incredible to see the communication between Ryan and Scott as the job progressed. Although we dealt with Ryan primarily, Scott seemed to be up-to-date on any conversations.We found them to be a very thorough, considerate and respectful team of builders, who were happy to trouble-shoot any issues as they arose and who worked well with our architects throughout. We performed the electrical installation on the renovation and they made this process easy and were very flexible to work with. We felt very lucky to have them on our team, on what was an important renovation for us.They made the build a pleasurable experience for us and we found the end result to be of a high quality. We engaged with Ryan Vernon for a partial demolition and renovation of a single fronted Victorian project in Burnley last year. The decision to choose Yarrabank during the tender process was an easy one - based primarily on Ryan’s communication, punctuality during the consultation process and enthusiasm for the build.Though there were a handful of unexpected planning and design challenges that arose during the build, none were too big for Ryan to resolve and with minimal project impact too. The close relationships that he has forged with his various tradespeople are clearly evident and reflect in the high level of craftsmanship that were delivered in our finished product. There can be an information “unknown” for those that have not built before, but Ryan bridged this gap seamlessly by putting in the time to clearly explain and articulate how each aspect or process of the build worked.Ryan and his team bring a high level of professionalism and organisation to their work and we would have no hesitation in engaging with them again on any future build and/or renovate needs.

Yarrabank builders were engaged to complete an extensive renovation to our 1920’s double brick house in Northcote which involved the whole front half of the house and adding a second storey to that part of the house. The project was overseen by our architect. It was a 7 month build and we met with Ryan and Scott on a fortnightly basis.We could not be happier with the result and the process. Our dealings with Ryan and Scott were more than professional: they cared about our project and went beyond expectations. The project was finished exactly on time to the day and the quality of the work was excellent: we have been through two previous house renovations and the quality of work that Yarrabank produced is proving to be superior in every way. After almost two years living in the house we are constantly pleased with the work completed by Yarrabank.We would heartily recommend Yarrabank to anyone thinking about a major house renovation or build.

Ryan and the team at Yarrabank did a great job with renovating an old extension on our place into a modern living space. They always kept us up o date with progress and discussed key decisions when it was needed to ensure there were minimal delays. And they even helped us sort out some other issues around our house at a very competitive price. For any disputes, of which there were very few, they were always very reasonable.
