The people I spoke to were very informative & helpful. The property was clean & tidy. We adopted a Lilac Burmese kitten which has a beautiful temperament & is a perfect fit for our family (young kids).

I recently went on a 6 week holiday and entrusted my 3yo with Dave and the team. She normally only stays with them for a few days so I was very nervous about how she would go. Katniss was very VERY well looked after and loved. She didn't try murder me in my sleep when I got her home and was back to her normal self as soon as I got her back in the house.

Excellent service and care, the very best in Western Australia, these people seriously know about cats and how to give them the best while their owners are away. Highly recommend.

A wonderful experience when buying our new family member, a chocolate Burmese named Harry. Great package at time of picking him up and the owners were both professional and courteous when waiting for us to decide on which one!! Highly recommended as breeders!!

Highly recommended. My long haired persian cat is always happy to stay here, and has always been treated with the highest level of care and attention and kindness. Cat Grooming service is also excellent. I have also hired several horse floats which have always been well maintained and clean at a reasonable price. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Blu ice for anyone wanted the best for their fur babies while they are away from home.

Dave and Raylene took great care with our Lucy. Being an old cat she needed medication and was starting to lose her appetite. Dave had tips for getting her to eat more which we really appreciated. Lucy was quite used to her visits at Blu Ice and we thank the family for taking care of her.

It's difficult for me to write this review, but I hope this helps the staff, owners, and others considering boarding their pets here.I boarded my 4-month old bunny (Luna) here, I’ve had pets before, but this is the first time I’ve ever had to board a pet.I read that only rabbits up-to-date with vaccinations were accepted, so although I was not actually asked to during the booking process, I did ring my vet and have them provide me with a copy of Luna’s vaccination certificate which I forwarded to Blu Ice.On arrival, I was pleasantly surprised that they asked about Luna’s diet so that they could provide the correct type/amount of food to her.We walked through the cattery to the rabbit and guinea pig section, which was a little smaller. There was a cabinet to the left with about 6 or 8 hutches in it, 2 wide and 3 or 4 down, and I was directed to place Luna in one of the bottom ones. The cage, while small, was adequate for the 11 nights I was leaving her there for, so I was not really worried. This afternoon after work I went to pick Luna up, I arrived and paid first before I picked her up. She stayed 11 nights at $13/night but the total cost was for 12 nights. I didn’t think anything of it and wasn’t going to quibble over $13. The man asked me if an email receipt would be fine and I said yes, however I don’t have it (read on).We went through to pick Luna up and there were just two rabbits in that unit I had placed her in, they were both in the top row. The man opened the cage on the left to “Cooper” and said “This is your rabbit…?” I was a bit alarmed, then saw my bunny in the neighbouring cage, with the name “Lucy” hanging on the front, with completely different owners listed. Her chew toy and two soft toys were still with her, but her two soft toys were soaked in her pee. The litterbox provided did not have any litter in it (my bunny is litter trained), so she had started peeing on her toys. There was also some rug/pet blanket in there that didn’t belong to me, and was covered in bunny pee and poo. I pointed to her and told the man that “Lucy” was actually my rabbit Luna, and that all the information on the sheet was incorrect because it belonged to someone else. I was not happy. He apologised and just said “Sorry, I’m not sure how the girls mixed that one up”.I put Luna in her carrier which was still there, and I left.I now understand why I don’t have the email receipt - because I’ve paid for somebody else’s pet. There were only two rabbits up there, Cooper and “Lucy”, so not sure what’s happened to my information nor the other person’s bunny. This was my first experience with boarding a pet and it has left me mistrustful and sad.Luna is healthy and appears to have been well fed, however I’m upset at how her (and my) information was mixed up with somebody else’s, and I’m left confused as to how the correct information was still there when there only appeared to be two rabbits left (although I did not check the runs/cages on the ground as I was too preoccupied with Luna). I was also upset and unimpressed at the lack of litter in the litterbox which had resulted in my bunny peeing and pooping all over her toys and ?other owner’s pet blanket. There was a fair bit of mess in there, completely unlike her cage at home.Overall, my bunny is not distressed and appears well-fed. I’m not sure how much of the peeing and pooping thing is due to change in environment, but Luna is well trained at home, and always goes in the litterbox (which has a layer of litter in it). It was a bit confronting to see her in such a mess, and coupled with the mix-up of information and the seeming lack of worry when I pointed this out, I felt I should at least provide a review that I hope can help improve things for others in the future.
