Nick Scali Furniture

With a score of 3.6 before my 4 star review; my 4 stars seems highly appropriate.Great store with very friendly salespeople.But this is a message for management. If a customer says they’re just looking there’s no need to stalk them around the store. It felt weird. As a person previously worked in high-value retail there are methods to show interest in customers and to assist their queries. Being stalked around the store is poor customer experience for those who just want to have a look, and a poor customer experience for those who need assistance with sales staff tied up with those not interested. I’ve said for 15 years, individual sales targets and budgets are a blight on customer service. In this modern era there are thousands of different data points to obtain performance results without destroying customer experience. Having worded this out now it’s no one wonder people go, look, measure and go home and order it online.This isn’t a a one star review because the staff were lovely, kind, knowledgeable and genuine; but I had to make it known that Nick Scali is one of the worst customer experiences. A used car lot on Parramatta road gives a better buying experience than thirsty salespeople who eavesdrop the conversation to provide knowledge about the product. Nick Scali has a reputation of premium but the in store experience at this store is anything but. I have had better experiences at other Nick Scali stores, much better in fact but I think the reduced number of consumers and available cash on hand for these purchases have made customer scarce and employees worried about their performance from the slim-pickings. My review won’t change the world but it could.

I ordered my three seater in June and initially said this will be delivered in at in October. Then I’ve been told that it will be delayed to early November now saying early December. But still can’t guarantee that this will be delivered in December. Last time I contacted I’ve been told store manager will contact within a day. Never happened. After week contacted them again. Been told contact in 5 mins. I’ve just told them to give me my deposit back so I can buy something else as we have been without a sofa for nearly 5 months.

Nice store and products. Lack of customer service. Staff are boring and flat, no sense of energy or support. I was there to spend well over $6 thousand for some furniture as I had done some research on thier website, but staff lack of support made me not buy on that day. I was so disappointed as I wanted to make purchas on that day.

Exceptional customer service. The manager gave me his direct number in case I had any concerns about the order or delivery at any time. I called the number to change my fabric colour two days later while still in the cooling off period and it was all easy and trouble-free. Delivery was at the time planned - they actually arrived an hour early. Everything set up, boxes neatly stacked in driveway for our disposal. Dealing with Nick Scali Marsden Park was a terrific experience from start to finish.

Would never ever recommend anyone to buy their products, I spent 3.5 grand on a battery operated lounge and didn’t last 2 years, one side of the lounge has completely stopped working. Their customer support never closed my ticket from last year MH31346S, after their second tech visit when the person mentioned to me he is waiting on some spares which never arrived for more then a year. Now the customer care says I am out of warranty. It’s Nick Scali’s responsibility to follow up and ensure all tickets are closed with customer satisfaction. Never received a follow up call or email. The worst customer experience company.

Nick Scali furniture is fantastic, love the store and staff are great. As a person of Italian heritage i love the style and modern feel. I have purchased a number of items from them and cannot complain at all. Great service, great company and store is clean and modern.

High quality goods, but this place has no employees that are up themselves like other Nick scali stores. Great range of furniture.

Exactly the same as another recent disappointed customer. Told the product would be delivered in 10-12 weeks (and written on the documentation). I had to chase them and am now told it will be another 7 weeks. Totally unacceptable! Even allowing for some unforeseeable circumstances this is bad business. Now pursing a refund of my deposit.
