Food delicious but was soon cold as air conditioning was cold. Beers were tasty and refreshing. Atmosphere was lacking. Venue is very modern and sterile. I was hoping for an indoor fire with comfy seating due to mountain scene and was therefore very disappointed. We came on a drizzly cool night and inside was almost as cold as outside. We did not stay long after dinner as we were cold.

Took our pup for lunch like normal people do.We loved Monty Brewing Co!Our girl had chicken pieces, I thought they were delicious and so did she. We had the wagyu and rump, both super delicious.The venue is great, beers are great and the service is outstanding!Thanks so much to the girls that served us, upon arrival one of them brought our pup out a bowl of water, she refilled it when it got knocked over not long after she put it down, they are wonderful and so thoughtful, hats off to them!We will be back.

Wow what a view! There is nothing more relaxing than having a sip of a cold brew overlooking the mountains. Watching the sunset is so peaceful.The staff are friendly & helpful. Food was delicious & very fast getting to the table!I had the woodsman pizza. So delicious, so filling!I think this addition to the Highfields area is just what we needed.Great grass area outside for the kids to run around also.What more do you need?

Peace to the fallen and peace to the lost.My mother (RIP) made food poorly. My father, who still lives, tries, but isn’t great either. So, they have made the worst meals of my life. They have. It’s ok.Monty has made the worst *paid* meal of my life.It started with a bang - no orders for twenty minutes! One and a half hour wait (for pub food)! The place wasn’t even really at capacity.And then the ribs came. But first, the fries. Soggy, crispy in patches, but lacking in seasoning. Oh, and cold.The salad? I suppose cut lettuce, sliced red onion, and ribbons of cucumber is a salad.But the ribs. Cold. Hard. Chewy. Tough. Tasteless. Salty. Awful. Awful. Awful.For shameLook, the view is nice and I suppose the staff are workers and thus deserve solidarity. But otherwise? Horrible

It was such an amazing experience. The partner and i dont get out much and are country people. Anything that sounds fancy kinda overwhelms us, but we both enjoyed ourselves as soon as we walked in. It felt pub like, but with elegance. The staff are super friendly. Highly recommend.

The venue itself is outstanding, if I may say so myself. Nice views.My steak was cooked perfectly rare, as requested. Most of the food is fine. Good but not great. The beers are really good. Great even, and I'm not even much of a beer guy.I've once seen a classic car meet on the back lawn area which is a nice use of the space. I'd like to own a classic car one day - maybe an early model Mercedes or a rotary Mazda.The food really though is just pub food and it's a pretty long wait, long enough to fit in a couple of beers, which is fine, the beers are really quite good.

I Have eaten in on 2 occasions and love the chicken noodle salad dish.. great combination of flavours.. the featured dessert also very yum! as was the buffalo wings..i love that this is a local restraunt in Highfields and we will be regular customers..my son highly recomments the wagu beef burger and chips were perfect.. tasty and crispy..

Monty’s is a fantastic dining option with some amazing menu choices, almost too many good ones that it was hard to pick and nothing to complain about. Complimentary to the amazing food menu was a great selection of beers brewed in house, with the distillery viewable from the dining area. The atmosphere was great, a really pleasant place for a drink, some great food and an amazing view. The staff were professional, accommodating and friendly to all. Considering it was a Wednesday of school holidays, it was quite busy, causing some minor delays, however to me that’s a sign of a great venue and one I’m very glad we went to.

Steak was really good but lacking some sauce. The problem I had with this was it included salad, however I don’t see how you can call literally 2 lettuce leaves and 4 slices of cucumber with no dressing a salad. It would be more adequately worded garnished with lettuce insteadEdit: Thank you for the reply, I will be sure to make a follow up visit and hopefully turn this into a 5 star review.

I was visiting Toowoomba and herd about this place from friends in Melbourne and I can see why. I was lucky to attend during there chinese new year celebration what a great vibe! Fantastic food spot on watermelon salad perfect for the weather. Craft beer selection so good. Views a bonus. Attentive staff
