Was good service on the day we hired out however when returning the item we turned up at 12.01 to drop it off and were nearly refused service to return to item, now the reason this happened- we were given a dodgey machine that took 30 seconds to turn to lever every time u tried to get it to go in to forward motion.We understand it was 1MINUTE late but being told that we had to pick it up at 4.30 on the Friday cos it's 'Friday' and the end of the week, can't say I'm too impressed about the customer service considering we have been using McNeils for a long as I can remember.

Staff were great. We hired a 1.7 tonne excavator. It worked well. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! Absolutely horrendous service! I went in with my father trying to rent a star-picket remover that would get the job done. We had previously rented one, and it didn't work because it was so old. We tried explaining this to a worker, who immediately got very defensive. He insisted it worked because he tried it himself many times." He then said he had a couple of complaints about itnot working
