Pretty poor experience, was sold a floor model that had been improperly assembled and told we could have it for half price because of this. However once we got to the counter only took 20% off. Asked for a bulb to fit the lamp and only realised once we'd gotten home that they'd sold us the wrong bulb for the lamp we'd bought. Overall rather disappointing

Just went in to buy some downright led globes, selected what I wanted, walked to counter and stood waiting for over 10 mins to be served. Customer service gone wrong. Staff need to be able to deal with more than one customer at a time or simply put on more staff on a weekend as obviously there is a need for it.

Went in to just buy an overhead fan to be advised by one of the staff to just wait at the counter as they served other customers (on the shop display floor). The staff were juniors as they couldn't tell the difference between a customer who wants to just get in and buy something-versus customers who have lots of questions and could wind up being tyre kickers. Waited 10 minutes and was ignored- so walked out .spent the money at Bunnings. I have worked in retail and it is an art to be able to multi-task-this shop is new and needs some experience.

Great experience at Beacon Lighting in Belmont. Patti provided us with fantastic customer service. She was very helpful and made our shopping experience a positive one. Will definitely visit the Belmont store again.

Helpful we wanted some down light but they didn't have the ones we needed to match as we have around 20 so she had a look at the sample we had and said bunnings is around the corner your best to match them so that was nice

Picked up a lamp from Adairs(nextdoor), so I went to get a light bulb. Superb service. Friendly and helpful. With their guidance, they were able to narrow the choices down.

Don't ever visit the belmont store! The counter lady Christine or whatever her name is was rude and hung up on me while i was talking. She has such lousy customer service and was not apologetic at all when it was clearly beacon lighting's fault. I had taken leave from work specially for the delivery and waited for the whole day for the delivery. They didnt even bother to contact the customer that the delivery wasn't coming and I had to call twice to follow up! Such bad service! Never buying anything from there again!
