Looksmart Alterations

The lady was extremely rude. The prices were exorbitant. To hem the sleeves of a light weight sports jacket by 2 inches I was charged $50. When I asked the lady if she could tally up the total for me for 4 garments, she grumbled and said she was very busy. The only change of her attitude occurred when she was paid.

They charge an arm and a leg for their service and do not live by 100% satisfaction guarantee. The lady who did the measuring was very nice but the guy who was the manager was very rude and arrogant.definitely not going back for any alterations and i will tell those that i know not to go there either.Their customer service is very poor.

As some of the other comments mention, the cost of relatively simple alterations seems to be pretty high. I was charged $75 for my pants to be taken in, in two different areas. Based on my experience with previous tailors this shouldn’t have cost more than $50. They did a good job but just check the price before you come here.

Popped in today to see if I could get a zipper repaired. Lady was very polite and gave me the options on how to repair coat. She took it away for 5 minutes and because it didn't need much done to coat, didn't charge me.Wonder service

I was told to come back at 4pm, only to find them closed at 3.55pm. And when I called the vitriol I was given by the person who answered was beyond belief. 3 trips to the store to get my hemming done right, and to collect the goods.The staff are sanctimonious and they don't live up to their 100% satisfaction guarantee.I normally get my hemming done at half the price elsewhere. Shame on me for thinking the higher price would mean better service.Despite leaving feedback on their Facebook and website, I am yet to hear back from them.

Sent in 3 pairs of chinos on seperate occasions and they tailored all of them too short. These chinos were $100 each and now I am unhappy with them. Do not recommend

I asked for a quote on getting some gems and sleeves taken up. Customer service was lacking, asking very in depth questions about the cut and cloth of the garment. When I didn't have the professional response, I was given a 'rough figure' that was rather unreasonable (in the vicinity of $150-$160 and a minimum 5 day turn around). I went to Tip Top services just around the corner, also asked for a quote, was given an on the spot flat fee for both with zero hassle and $40 less than quoted from look smart. I'd recommend Tip Top, they did a great job and I got my suits back in 4 days.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! THEY WILL RUIN YOUR CLOTHES!1st attempt at alterations, they measured and pinned my dress .. cost $600Came back to collect and nothing had changed.I couldn't walk in my dress 1 week before event as it was still 2 inches too long, very obvious they hadn't even touched it.Went back to get it altered again for free, picked it up and they were so busy I didnt try it on in the store so took it home to try on. Length was fine but the standard of workmenship was appauling.The cut lines on the tulle were jagged and with only 2 days to the event I had to cut it myself.Honsestly the worst alterations I've ever had and I am do angry at myself for going here for such a big event.They took a $2000 dress and butchered it.

the “manager” Jenny with dark blonde/brown curly hair had absolutely no customer service skills. Said one thing and contradicted herself with wrong pricing then wouldn’t refund the difference, just started laughing. Ended up asking for a full refund and took the pants back because of her rude attitude. Doesn’t cost anything to be a nice person, which is exactly what i told her, which she then laughed at. you do as you choose but i know i wouldn’t wanna give my money to people like that with no respect.

Had three pants shortened and the job was okay at best.They couldn't even sew the original trim pattern back on and I've had to get 1 of the 3 pants repaired (elsewhere). I thought it was pretty disappointing for $25 each.I won't be back.
