While my friend and I had a great initial experience with this agency when we signed a lease for a beautiful place. this all changes when, a few wks into the lease, my friend (for whom I was carer as he had pancreatic cancer), was hospitalised and soon passed away. Advised of this fact by the agent, the owner (who happened to live in the next apartment) took advantage of the opportunity and served me with an eviction notice. This is certainly within their rights of course but the agent handled the entire process with absolutely no concern for the fact that my friend had just passed away, she couldn't even extend her condolence. I got a sense that she either didn't believe me or didn't care, when it was quite obvious when we signed the lease that my friend was undergoing chemotherapy. The owner decided to take the place off the market so their daughter could move in. Oddly, only a few days after ordering me to move out, the agent came back with a reduced rate and an offer to stay for 3 months. Never mind I had already started packing and looking into other available properties. Of course the agent in question was MIA when I dropped by to hand the keys back. So, every bad preconceived notion you may have about real estate agents, can be found here. Unless of course you have something they want!

Have had a worst experience of my life to buy a property as a first home buyer through Luton manuka got betrayed badly. Will never recommend anyone to buy a property through them. We bought a unit about 10 months ago, it's been a stressful time for us since then because of the property if you want a good real estate agent go somewhere else.

My son's property in Queanbeyan was being rented out by Luton Manuka. The agent responsible was unpleasant to deal with and was inefficient in her duties where the property was concerned. A totally unprofessional approach from every angle on their part. Would not recommend.

When I was renting a unit through Luton Properties Manuka recently, I was facing a very challenging situation. However, David Connelly took over the matter and worked through it with much sincerity and integrity and resolved the matter quickly and achieved a positive outcome. He is very customer focused and shows sensitivity and flexibility towards his customers. Thus, I would recommend taking David Connelly on as your next property manager!

I own an investment property in the Landmark complex, for which Melissa Huesso is the manager.Melissa has been doing an outstanding job, particularly recently when there has been a lot to do.The flat has had a change of tenants. In addition, it had become a little tired and, in consultation with Melissa, we settled on a number of things to refresh it before a new tenant moved in.Melissa managed superbly every aspect of the change of tenants and the work on the flat.She kept me well-informed about progress, and replied promptly to my questions.It is always a pleasure to deal with her.Chris

Would not recommend Kim Paxton. Unprofessional, insulting, not willing to take accountability and admit mistakes. Invoices were paid late. We've incurred late fees and are unnecessarily out of pocket after this experience. As first home buyers this is exactly the type of property manager we wanted to avoid.

Airle Jaratt is the worst property manager - An agency is as good as its agents and I am disappointed to say that from last 5 years different I have dealt with a few property agents who have misrepresented facts, tried to not take responsibility, and now the worst even were rude and insulting to their tenants. I called this Senior Property Agent - Airlie Jaratt after sending a detailed communication around how a loose piece of wall fell from my balcony due to poor maintenance and could have caused an accident to the ground floor residents. But for some reason she blasted me instead. Out of the 11 minutes of call for almost 9 minutes, Airlie felt the need of being rude and insulting towards me because apparently my email was very aggressive. She is a perfect example of a staff who does not take responsibility of her actions and brings bad reputation to her agency but even her agency (Luton) supports her in her action. I understand people have bad data and then they say a few things and I asked for an apology from the staff but I got none. So it is important for me to spread the word that Luton is one of the worst real estate agencies.Update after Agency's response:Hi Luton, please note your response is irrelevant to the points raised in the review. It is about the rudeness and arrogance of your staff and the way she dealt with the issue. Not about Body corporate issue which apparently your junior staff is managing so well.
