Very disappointed, very expensive, most unhelpful! My first and last! Took several visits for the tax agent to get it right and my return was simple. am doing it myself next return! I was emailed the Client portal 3x, and each time it failed to “activate”. Pathetic and opportunistic. Sharks, the whole lot! Felt boxed in, every corner, pay, pay. Only went because of proximity, never again! Let this be a warning to the public beware and keep away. So mad and frustrated. Horrible horrible experience!!!

Forgot to file my Tax Refund last year until I chased them for days to get some kind of response. Had to redo the whole thing from scratch with the accountant.Figured, you know everyone makes the odd mistake...Well they have done the exact same thing again this year! And again noone will help me sort it out after multiple phone calls.Seems the Boronia Office is rife with incompetence and lack of professionalism.Strongly recommend you take your business elsewhere

Wish there was an option for 0 stars. Didn’t get the best refund possible for me. Waited 40 minutes past my appointment time. Lady made me calculate my own earnings on payslips. Charged me $40 more than the quoted price for a student that I received online. DO NOT GO HERE. I wrote a review on here last year and it’s gone now.

Wow, really disappointed. I had my taxes done by a guy at Boronia office last year and he was brilliant - so helpful. Just tried to call to make appointment this year but needed to ask a question. Got an ANSWERING SERVICE guy who was so unprofessional, spoke to me like lazy teen in front of the TV!! Looks like I need to go elsewhere!

If I could give no stars I would, they where extremely unprofessional. I made an appointment and they keeper me waiting 20 minutes past my appointment time, then I check my progress with they ATO to find that they never logged my return almost two months on and they have only just logged my tax return apparently. Don't go here!

Very poor service, they didnt make an effort to get my maximum refund, they didnt explain anything to me, went to a different tax agency and was shown i could have got double the amount H&R block got me. wouldnt listen to me didnt add the numbers correctly. Very unsatisfied would not recommend and will not be going back.

Dismal, really messed up my return badly. Had to re-lodge my return. Ended up costing me hundreds of dollars more than it should have. Very dissatisfied with the service. The ability of the employee to do the service provided is in question as the figures I provided were added up incorrectly. Not even an apology or refund offered when I had to go back to try and get it fixed. Really cannot recommend them at all from my experience. Left me with a huge financial and personal headache.

Due to Covid I thought that doing my tax over the phone would be a difficult and lengthy process. However, it was actually very simple and was over in under half an hour, due to the friendly, professional accountant I spoke to at H&R Block Boronia.He gave me valuable information and advice, and his diligence to assist me getting the maximum amount for my return was outstanding. From my personal experience, I would highly recommend using H&R Block for any tax related purposes, as I have done for the last 4 years. A very happy customer!

My husband and I did our tax at the Boronia branch in 2018, and the tax consultant somehow felt free to share homophobic views with us while doing our tax. I found it really unsavoury and unnecessary. Edit: I have been contacted by H&R block and understand the issue has been raised with the staff member involved. I have edited the review to remove the tax consultant's name and to make it clear this is a historical complaint. I hope it was just a one-off.

Do not recommend. Very expensive and the woman doing my taxes refused to claim the $100 in stationary that you're allowed to claim without receipts because I didn't have receipts.
