Emily went above and beyond for us and made our day completely stress free, beautiful and memorable for all the right reasons. I became friends with Emily through this process, she makes the whole process seem like you are just two friends catching up who happen to be throwing a big event... except you get to sit back while she does all the hard work!We did our vows ceremony right in the midst of all the crazy covid rule changes and restrictions which seemed to change daily. Emily didn't let on at all how difficult and stressful that would have been to manage, she just kept us informed and worked her magic to make sure it didn't ruin our day.The local contacts she uses are equally as impressive, they were all so good at their craft and equally as friendly. I think this speaks volumes about the pride Emily takes in her own work by only using trades she knows will do a brilliant job. I think it has to be said that she might just be Adelaide's best wedding stylist!

Emily was fantastic throughout the wedding planning process. She guided us through every small detail and made us feel so confident in her sense of style. It was a pleasure to work with her, and being able to collaborate through stationery was an added bonus.

Where do I even begin! Emily was an absolute life saver. After our initial interstate elopement plans were cancelled due to COVID, Emily recreated our vision and our wedding day was better than we ever could of imagined.She literally took care of everything and it was such a weight lifted off our shoulders knowing that we could leave everything in her hands and just enjoy our day with our guests. We gave Emily a few ideas and basically let her run with it and boy did she deliver!! Her supplier recommendations were of course, incredible, and every detail was thought of.The whole idea of planning a wedding completely overwhelmed me but having Emily in our corner made it such an stress free experience.If you want someone who is creative, attentive to detail, fabulous at communicating, has amazing supplier connections and is just a downright awesome person, Emily is your gal!Thankyou again Emily for all of your hard work - we truly couldn't have done it without you!

We feel like whatever we write will not do Emily justice. But here we go.From the moment we contacted her she knew exactly what we needed, even though we had no idea. We gave her free reign over the styling and just watched as she created her masterpiece. She involved us in every part of the process giving us multiple options for venues, stationary, florals etc. and when the day came, she put it all together in an unforgettably beautiful and unique way.Even when we had to change venues 8 weeks out we never felt like she didn't have our backs, she was relentless in her pursuit to create the perfect day for us both.If you have any doubts about who to chose for your wedding, stop doubting, you have found the right person in Emily. Just do it!!

Emily is an incredible Adelaide Wedding Stylist. She made our unique vision come to life, better than I could have ever imagined. She helped tremendously with planning & styling our special day. Emily created an excellent team around us who were incredible and made the day flow smoothly and effortlessly. We met with Emily for the 90 minute consultation package. Our experience with Emily was fantastic and she was SO knowledgeable, and more than happy to share it all with us, with no topic being off limits! She helped us to clarify our colour scheme, vision, stationary, timeline for the day, and provided helpful recommendations for wedding vendors. Emily! What can we say! Emily is an incredible Adelaide Wedding Stylist but she is so much more than that.My wife and I wanted a unique day and Emily was so patient with us whilst we navigated through ideas! We had a vision for our day - dark, moody, romantic vibes and a strict no flowers rule. Emily sourced an incredible florist and between the two of them created absolute master pieces of green foliage (hanging, floor and table pieces) paired with a mixture of velvet chairs and stools, marble top high bar tables, lounge areas, beautiful signage, candles etc etc etc!!I’m the lead up to the day Emily was the perfect amount of “there when we needed her” but “didn’t bother us with the little issues” knowing full well the lead up to a wedding for any couple is busy!Emily made our entire experience an absolute delight. From the moment we met Em we knew she was a perfect fit for us and we are so grateful for the day she helped us create! - our tears of joy (captured on film) when our venue space was revealed to us said it all!!If you are thinking about a stylist/planner/coordinator but aren’t sure if you need it… you absolutely do!Emily we have said it before and will continue to say, we are so grateful for you and what you did for us!

Emily assisted us with our wedding in Oct 2022. We currently live interstate and were planning a wedding for Adelaide. I personally underestimated the stress and anxiety that went into planning a wedding from far away.I felt like Emily was a blessing, who reassured us and maintained full transparency. Emily was honest with us about our budget and she even worked hard to make our budget work for what we wanted. Because our time visiting Adelaide was limited, she always made it work when we needed to have a meeting or go somewhere or get something done.Emily organised a planning website for us and it made things so easy to have all of our correspondence, contacts, charts and upcoming tasks to do all in one place. And being a bride who loved control, I absolutely LOVED all of the checklists and visuals. The thing I appreciated the most through all of this is when Emily often said, “I’ll take care of that”. The sense of relief that came with removing what felt like us having to constantly follow up with vendors was really appreciated.I really can’t thank Emily enough for helping us to bring to life our ideas and create something so beautiful! I highly recommend her and her business to any couple! Thank you!

I honestly cannot recommend Emily enough. My fiancé and I were in search of a coordinator to assist us with our Adelaide Hills wedding at the end of 2022, and after speaking to a number of Adelaide wedding planners, I still felt I hadn't connected with someone, until I approached Emily. Her warm, friendly and genuine demeanour immediately let me know I was placing my trust in the right person. My (now) husband and I are the furthest thing from event planners, and all I had was an idea in my head that was substantiated by a few photos I had found on Pinterest for inspiration. I had no idea how to execute it, but from the beginning Emily was right there on the same page and truly brought my ideas to life. We opted for a cottage/whimsical feel to match the beautiful Golding's Winery estate, with a balance of masculine and feminine elements to complement us both as a couple. Emily obliged and created a gorgeous concept that my husband and I both immediately resonated with. I threw Emily a curveball when I disclosed how I wanted our ceremony; circular with a viewpoint for every guest (see below). It was a genuine risk, I had never seen it in person, nor had Emily, however she took it in stride and we worked together to figure out the best outcome. I can honestly say I was blown away with how it turned out.Other than design concept and execution, there were a number of standout points when working with Emily that only enhanced my review of the Ever After team's work (now The Modern Approach)* Communication was always forthcoming - emails or phone call touch points were always available* Organisation - Emily was always on the forefront of organisation, I rarely had to follow up with anything, and if I did it was usually because I was pre-empting something, not because it hadn't been taken care of.* Pricing - Emily's quotes either internal or for external vendors were almost entirely accurate and always transparent. I hit budget and any time an idea was more expensive than I expected, Emily went out of her way to find an alternative.* Precision - I was expecting the team to just eyeball a circular set up and create it based off a visual inspection, but Emily contacted a landscaper to attend on-site on the day to perfectly measure out the space.*Forward thinking - further to the last point, Emily was always thinking about where things could go wrong or wouldn't look up to her standard - her reason for employing a landscaper was on the off chance our photographer/videographer used a drone for our wedding photos, she didn't want it to look off centre (this was something I never would have thought about) amongst so many other things during the planning process.*Vendor connections - all of her recommendations I took. They were reasonably priced and what they produced far exceeded my expectations.*Patience - I had immense trouble figuring out the formatting for our table planning and it was probably the only real stress I endured throughout. This was evident in my phone calls, and Emily not only took multiple phone calls from me, but reassured me and guided me through the process. Most importantly, she didn't make me feel stupid for something that seemed like a relatively simple task.We honestly could not have had the wedding day we did without Emily and the Ever After team's input - we truly were in awe of what she created.
