Goin' Muttz

Absolutely the best people. They are genuinely passionate about helping dogs and their humans strengthen their bonds and work together. We did the foundations class with our roughly 18 month old dog who is a naturally boisterous girl and somewhat disruptive, but Lauren was so patient with us and made a world of difference in how I approached my training with her. That was a few months ago, now we have added a puppy to the home and he is struggling with fears and feeling safe. Despite how long it has been since we attended class, and that it wasn't even with him, Lauren has taken the time to talk through what he is displaying and how I can work with him to help him feel safe and find happiness in his new home. This is genuine care and concern for dogs.Not only that, but I had health issues when class first started and that meant I had to be shuffled to a different class. Tamika was so understanding and caring, she checked in with me and talked with me about what was going on so I had a kind ear to talk to. When I first went looking for dog training I never expected to be made to feel like part of the family.I couldn't recommend Lauren and Tamika highly enough. They are amazing! They know their stuff and they are always willing and eager to lend a hand. If you are looking for dog training (or training people to be work with their dogs in a way that works) don't waste your time looking elsewhere, I doubt you could find any better service and care.

AMAZING!!!!!!!Tamika is so knowledgeable and made the classes so much fun!I was quite hesitant to book an online course because of Covid but I am soooo glad we did as we learnt so much and we really looked forward to the class each week. The classes arent just for our pups, it is also for us as dog owners to learn about how to give our pups the best start to life and the course did exactly that. After the course Tamika also gave us a massive document (dog bible) so we can continue working on all the things we learnt.Definitely worth the money! Highly recommend!

Tamika was great, she is so knowledgeable and has such a great, positive approach to dog training. We enjoyed her classes and so did our pup! The classes are worth every cent! Tamika is like a dog whisperer. Her classes are so helpful and she has given us the tools and guides to understand our playful yet very energetic puppy. Looking forward to private toilet training classes with her. Highly recommended!

Recently completed puppy pre-school with Lauren. Great tools to start Ben with his training, they also took time to discuss individual concerns and provide guidance. Looking forward to the next level of classes with Goin’ Muttz!Update: we have since also completed the Fundamentals course. An excellent addition to Ben’s training and learning doggy essentials.

Loved our puppy classes and now our foundation classes, Tamika is so knowledgeable and I have leant so much about dog behaviour and how to put her techniques into practice. Would highly recommend her classes to any new pup family.

Tamika is a caring and wonderful trainer who has an amazing rapport with her clients and their dogs. We have learnt so much about how to train our puppy from his perspective not ours. Thank You for all the work you do Tamika you truly care for all dog owners and their dogs welfare. Great advice and techniques and also support. Do not go anywhere else if you wish to attend a puppy school or train your wonderful pets.It has been a great insight for us.

We took our puppy to Goin' Muttz puppy school based off a recommendation and we're so glad we did. Lauren is an amazing instructor and really helped us at the early stages of our puppy. We found the class was very helpful for us as the owners in having an understanding of our dog. We also had Lauren come in and help us one on one with our puppy and she has given us so many tools to help us understand our dog better. Lauren and the team at Goin' Muttz care so much for dogs and wanting the best for them and their owners, I wouldn't go anywhere else for help. We are now doing the Foundations Class to become a team with our puppy and we are loving the class so far.

We just completed the Foundations Class with our 8 month old Weim, Norbert. I can't recommend this class enough! Tamika was a great teacher, her passion and experience with training dogs (and people!) is obvious and we learned so much in this class. It was fun, informative and professional and we have learned so many new tools and techniques to build a strong foundation with norberts training now and in the future. We had a wonderful experience on the 4 week puppy training course. Lauren is amazing with the dogs and she is super knowledgeable. She delivered the content in an engaging, fun and interactive way - even managing to keep my two sons focused! She taught us some really invaluable skills. We can’t wait to sign up to the next course!!
