Constantly give quotes and then add sneaky extra charges. This applies to every transaction.Your reply did not impress me. You rang and asked if I wanted a reversal but you have seen my dog enough to know the reasons I said no. I make a point to ask for a quote which was $105. I was charged $135 because you incl monitoring’. Never been charged this before and not informed of charge in any conversation. Also not impressed that you refused to release my dog till you were paid in full incl disputed amount. There’s a name for this. I wrote this review on principal. First review I have ever done which should tell you something.

Can't recommend orchid valley vets enough! The girls there showed true compassion for us and our old sick kitty who sadly had to be put to sleep yesterday. The gentle and kind way they handled her and helped us process this difficult step, they went above and beyond and I can't thank you enough for what you did to help our family.

Fitted us in at short notice after our dog was attacked by large dog. Vet fully explained everything and gave her pain relief. Excellent reassuring service by all staff. Cost was under what we expected compared with SA vets. Thank you very much appreciated.

Do not waste your time! Zero empathy for the animal or human.. routine check up for a little bump on my kelpies nose. I wasInstantly was told but the senior vet. Pretty sure its the owner. You can't miss him, Unhappy and drastically overweight.That the bump is cancer. Mind you there was zero testing of the lump and was given a cream and told to return in a week's time.This man should never tell you that your dog has cancer unless tested. Locals speak down about this veterinary clinic and I will be another one of those locals until the end of time.Good luck with yourselves!

Wonderful, attentive service.Our dog needed to be seen at short notice - they were able to fit him in and were very caring, professional and lovely to deal with.We've always found the Orchid Valley team to be great - today they were brilliant. Thank you.

My dog got a tick over the weekend so the this vet was the on call vet for the weekend. We normally take him to another vet in town who was not available. I was very happy with their service and treatment, however very surprised and disappointed that they did not offer a payment plan. The bill was $1300 and they would not give me my dog until I paid the amount in full! Considering this was an emergency and we certainly had not planned on this vet visit- I just couldn’t believe they didn’t accept part payments. I don’t have this sort of money so I had to put it on my credit card which I really couldn’t afford with but I wanted my dog back. My normal vet certainly doesn’t do this so I will not be going back for this reason.

The vet I saw was very thorough

Great service. My dog was well looked after shortly after she was struck by a car. Staff were compassionate and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. I trusted them with my loved one and they did not disappoint. My dog is still happy and healthy thanks to Sam especially. Would highly recommend.
