I was in the Chermside branch a few weeks ago and the chap on the front counter was extremely helpful. He wasn't happy that I was on holiday though hahaha. If you're nice to them, they are nice in return. I don't understand why all the negative feedback.

Rude reception lady. She said to me call to centrelink,she can't do anything, why she works there? When reception lady call you, refuse and wait another kind lady. She is useless.

Had a few good experiences with other staff members. Unfortunately, my last visit was attended by Mariam was a very unpleasant experience with Miriam.I was friendly, polite and smiling. I wasn't even there to ask for any funancial assistance but only requested her to help me with a document. She was condescending and overly bossy. She didn't know her job and walking back and forth asking another staff member to help her. I told her my details but she couldn't remember or unsure of what she was doing and kept asking me different details. At last she wrote that on a piece of paper and walked to her colleague again but she still got it wrong. Then she blamed it on me.She took my phone number and said she would call. However, I did not receive any calls from Services Australia and my request has not been done until now.I was just there for a document. If you don't know your job or can't help, it's fine. You don't need to act condescending and bossy to cover up your insecurity for your incompetency.

Our visit to the chemside centre link was very positive. Parking was great as long as you got there early (8-9am)The welcome from the security guard was very politeI was directed to the service desk we're the lady listen to my issue and booked me a appointmentThe customer service team member was outstanding and had all my paperwork finialise within a couple of hrs and even called me with the progressUnfortunately this was something that my regional CL office could not achieve due to the lack of can't be bothered.Thank you chemside CLBob

Really bad experience with male staff, now I’m going to another office far away from my area because workers there have empathy and know their responsibilities.

I arrived at Medicare Chermside on Friday at 4.23, to be told that as it is 5 minutes before closing the would not process my claim. They handed me a claim form and said it would take 8 to 10 working days to process my claim. I said that I intended to fill it out slowly in their office and it would be just as quick to process given it was not yet 4.30. There were no other customers in the office and there were staff just standing around talking. What a waste of taxpayers money. If you arrived at any other business prior to closing you would be served. Given the short operating hours it is hard for working people to attend. Perhaps they should extend their hours to include a Saturday morning if they want to shut so early on a weekday. Ridiculous. The time it took for the staff member to argue with me was more than it would take to process the claim. The manager of this branch needs to tell his staff that the office doors shut at 4.30 but his staff needed to continue to see customers until that time.

Useless. Why bother with expense of an office when they tell you to post to Adelaide anyway. Useless “services”

I've been here a few times when I've needed help with my claims.They are always welcoming and helpful. Especially the other day when my baby was unsettled, the security officer and staff were helpful.There was a bit of a wait, but it's always busy, but they make up for it by their friendly attitudes.

I don't appreciate being accused of lying about whether i'm in a relationship or not. The consistent attempts at trying to make me admit I am in a relationship when I am not was ridiculous.Not only that, the lady named Tracy had no clue what she was doing and she was very condesending!!I almost left in tears of frustration and anger because nobody understood what I was trying to say then treated me like a 2 year old!
