We bought our dream car from Bill in 2020 and the service he provided was exceptional. We continue to get our XC90 serviced there and wouldn't go anywhere else simply due to the fact that they are an incredible dealership who show a great deal of care and knowledge. Will forever own a Volvo and will forever purchase them from these guys.

I asked for a quote to replace the steering lock for my c30. They quoted $637 for a part that costs $193 from Volvo and two shear bolts at $22 each. On top of that they wanted 3 hours of labour at $259 per hour. All up $1636.60 rounded down to $1600, wow, generous. I don't know what planet these people come from. Just ridiculous. Don't go near them, unless of course you want a job, $259 an hour sounds pretty sweet.

I would give 0 star if I could. This workshop gives nothing but troubles. Been back and forth 7 times in 5 months. Complained about car problems, parts had been changed but problems not solved, yet new issues arose!! Spent about $10k in 5 months and all the inconvenience from this workshop!! Plus a rude customer service from a male staff!1) They took days before return your calls, after giving them some pressure, or you never hear anything from them.2) Every appointment took days to make, and it’s weeks after the phone calls3) Every time drove in, just making more issues and make you go back and make another appointment and telling you more parts to change and more money to spend4) All issues been told to staff while sending car in for service but later on issues still exists even parts were changed after their “professional technicians” diagnosed and confirmed the part was broken. YET, we were told either there was no record about the issues we mentioned, or the parts changed had nothing to do with the issues occurred!! Seriously???NEVER GO TO THIS WORKSHOP!! YOU HAVE BEEN ADVISED FROM MY EXPERIENCE.UPDATE: They said they tried to contact me, there is no such thing!! After months and months to sending in my car, appointment after appointment, issues after issues, endless problems. They would just tell you your car is old, and time to change a new car (though we always listened to them changing original parts according to the mileage). If you consider buying a new VOLVO, think carefully if you don’t want to end up sending in your car all the time and has no car to drive every appointment you make. There is no point to talk to anyone there, because they DON’T communicate with each other, or other department.

Booked my late (five months) husband’s car in for its first service. It was an awful experience. Poor communication, they had the car for seven hours before they decided they needed to do extra work then it appeared to be my fault that the car wasn’t ready and someone had to wait for me because I wasn’t updated. Then I was overcharged. That and the texts addressed to Don had me in floods of tears. Great car but it will be my last.

I was here for the 2nd time for the Open Day and I love how the team at Volvo Brisbane North create meaningful family events to promote their cars and set up workshops tours for guests. I have a good experience with one of the new car salesperson a year back as well, explaining the difference between MY18 and MY19 etc on a XC90. However, during my visit today, I wasn't attended to even after 10 minutes of searching the entire dealership for a staff to chat to. Not a big issue at all but definitely something to improve on.

WONT BE COMING BACK TO VOLVOSo how do you get to pay 50%more for you car service than you were quoted?Well add in $259 for “diagnostics” when my dash board already says my ABS is faulty and various other charges, that’s how. Cost of all parts were at least 30% more than at non Volvo mechanic (to repair the same car.)Plus tax but what is the $22 surcharge for on top? And when I asked for an itemised invoice PRIOR to picking up the car I was told “the invoicing system is down at the moment “.So, never returning to Volvo to have my car serviced again and will not recommend to anyone.

Poor communication from the service department. We were told they would update us, however no update occurred and left in a stressful situation when organising to collect our car. They were told at drop off of work and children commitments but obviously disregarded our needs. Service person also explained the fault with our 2 month old C40 in a calm but condescending manner and wouldn’t listen. He was rude and not supportive. We attempted to solve the issues of the car via Volvo assist (unable to help) and contacting service department to see they could help (didn’t want to listen and told us to bring the car). Extremely stressful experience and I do apologise for using a swear word.

So my wife calls yesterday to book her XC90 into the service department to have 3 items looked at. Two of the issues are electronic/electrical issues and the third is a weatherstrip falling off. My wife was advised that for EACH of the three items she would be charged a minimum $259 diagnostic" fee. Now having spent a long career in automotive and related industries I understand an upfront diagnostic charge for electrical repairs. They can be nasty. Probably one charge for the two issues however as they are likely related.Anyway

Updated from 1 to 3stars as the manager did contact us and reviewed our complaint thoroughly.*****************************Horrible experience. We’d suggest you call us to discuss how you can make amends for failing to impress on so many levels, not the least of which being keeping us waiting 1.5hrs for our car which was sitting in the carpark ready to go. We checked in with you at the front desk, asking to speak to the manager only to see other customers come and go, it is absolutely appalling.Reading the other 1star reviews there seems to be a significant problem with service at this dealership. We’ve also read your responses to other 1star reviews and find them to be woefully inadequate given the blatant disregard you seem to have for the time and money of us and other customers. Please ensure that whoever contacts us has the authority to deal with this matter.
