Perfect for buying a unique and high quality gift, or for beautifying your own home.Of special note are the various green teas, gyokuro and matcha that can be purchased here - they are the highest quality Japanese teas you will be able to buy in Australia! Marukyu-Koyamaen matcha from Uji, Kyoto, is the favoured matcha of the Urasenke school of Japanese tea ceremony.

We had such a fabulous morning at Simply Native! We visited as a family, with our teenage son. Yukino and her team are attentive, inspiring and knowledgeable and have created a very special space. The matcha blind tea tasting was fun and transportive, followed by some retail therapy in their beautiful shop! Thank you Yukino, see you again soon!

Beautiful and amazing selection:●Yukino and Asami who are at the shop have so much knowledge for each of the product, I always enjoy listening about the stories behind each craftsmanship from them. It's amazing how they actually have long relationships with all the artisans in Japan.●I'm a tea person and I buy all my matcha, Green tea and Hoji cha from them too. Every time I offer green tea to my house guests, I always get compliments:)●I'm Japanese, but they have selections that I didn't even know about back in Japan - which I enjoyed myself so much, I'm actually sending some of the things to my mum, grandma and relatives as birthday presents and Christmas presents back in Japan. They think I have good taste in selecting presents, but I'm just choosing from Yukino's selections;) Everything Yukino selects is just amazing - great quality.

They sell such unique and beautiful items here, all of which I believe are imported directly from Japan. You'll find a nice variety of things from tableware, to Japanese tea, to snacks and wagashi. The owner Yukino and staff are so friendly and welcoming and have such extensive knowledge about their products. They also offer a matcha tasting experience which I'm interested in trying in the future!

Amazing little store with stunning items from Japan. The owner is lovely and always keen to chat and help out and she has an amazing eye for detail and quality. Highly recommend if your after authentic homewares from Japan.
