Australia Post - Montmorency LPO

CHECK YOUR RECEIPT EVERY TIME - This is the second time I've been overcharged close to $10 each transaction. Last time I noticed straight after the transaction and I pulled them up. They were quick to refund. I've just checked my receipt for today and a mysterious $9.95 has been added to my transaction which I didn't notice at the time of paying as I had a number of items. I know a lot of businesses are doing it tough due to lockdowns and I have no idea if this has always been happening, but this is SO wrong. I'm saddened that I've been forced to come on here and warn other potential customers that their staff are overcharging and to be careful. I have no idea if they are plain dishonest or incompetent in their jobs but I am going to say dishonest as there's no way amounts this high could just be 'added accidentally'. Shame on you for ripping off local customers and shame on me for not checking my receipt when I was in store today. I will never be back.

I went to Montmorency post office after a very poor experience at Lower Plenty. I had a difficult package to post and I had one arm in a sling. The service I received was exceptional and beyond what the lovely lady had to do but she had an awesome attitude and did everything she could to get the job done. She was an absolute credit to this post office.

Probably the most ignorant and nasty Post shop people around - and that's saying something. I've been given wrong advice and sour, aggressive attitudes on more than one occasion from the older staff/manager. They could do well to look at the young bloke that works there whose friendliness contrasts starkly with their miserableness - and no, I'm not related to him. Try the Lower Plenty Post shop for the best service nearby - and no, I'm related to him either, but Lower Plenty puts this place to shame!

This is a great post office! The gift shop inside has excellent quality gifts and is ordered in categories according to who it would be appropriate for e.g. Dads, small children etc.This is a family run business and they are lovely people who provide an excellent service.

Poor service and appalling attitude. Send my parcel into the post when it could be left on my doorstep. I received a text about to collect the item before a certain date. Went in before that and the item has been returned to sender already. Tried to ask for some information. The lady started every sentence with “I am telling you” and arrogant attitude.

The manger is rude and unhelpful. When questioning why a gift voucher for the store is only able to be used when purchasing certain items and their return policy, I was told to “read the receipt” and then ignored. I was very taken back by the attitude of the woman who is supposed to be running a family friendly post office. The people at Lower Plenty are far friendlier and give better customer service. I’ll never go back.

I have always received wonderful customer service. Staff are always smiling, accommodating and friendly.

bad experience. sent back my package early. was told they only hold packages for 20 days (fair enough) and that they had received my package 5 days before I have even ordered it?? not happy at all

I just started selling marble trays on EBay and silly me to offer a free postage. It would cost a fortune to send them in a box, the lady there was very helpful, she worked out a much cheaper solution for me and even help to pack the item secured. She didn't need to go the extra mile to help but she did. Thank you so much and I will make sure I stop offering 'free postage'.
