I don't normally review places but I must say: having been to many suiting stores including the Anthony Sq in Woden, I have to admit I was served by one of the most incompetent and sycophantic people in suiting. I came 3 Saturdays ago to Canberra centre and was served by an elderly woman who I was later told was the manager. Instead of fitting me in the right suit, all the manager" did was say I was in the right size even when I repeatedly said I'll need a size down. She needlessly pinned the suit which I didn't ask for. In the end I felt uncomfortable having this woman touch me and I said I'll be back.She clearly wasn't happy when I said no but I came back the next day without her on the floor but this time had an older gentleman serving me. He was inviting and listened to what I had to say. In the end I purchased a lovely $799 patterned suit (birdseye) from this gentleman with no alterations needed! It struck me the woman in question was simply trying to rip me off in paying more through alts for a suit which I knew wasn't right. I could sense the desperation as she was ready to rip me off.
