Bathroomware House Crows Nest

Bathroomware House have taken my money on 23.2.21 and since closed my online account and will not respond to any of my emails to say where is my order is or where my account has gone or offer delivery of a similar product they have online or a refund.I don't know what is up with the simultaneous closure of the Crowsnest shopfront, fire sale and online only presence - but feels totally fishy. Off to Fair Trading now. Watch out users.

I bought the Serras Vanity online and it is absolutely lovely high quality product! - I want to thank both Chris and Sarah K for the awesome customer experience and smooth and timely delivery.

I ordered some taps online with pickup from the crows nest store. The taps arrived quickly and the whole process was seamless. Service at the store was friendly and efficient. I'd definitely shop here again.

Do NOT buy from this place!! We ordered on 11 April. 5 weeks later we are still watiing. They say on the website delivery in 5 to 10 days. Ha! Multiple attempts to contact them were unsuccesful, calls not answered, voicemails and emails not returned. When we did speak we were promised return calls with infromation. Not one single return call! We have given up and ordered elsewhere. Will now have to battle them for a refund. I suspect will end up in Court. Disaster. Don't do it to yourself.

UPDATE: My initial review was 5stars, and I still stand by that (I have left my original review below for everyone to see), but that review is just for the members of staff in the shop and what they did for us.UNFORTUNATELY, the rest of the company let them down considerably.We purchased a product (and yes buyer beware if you are not a plumber) and when our plumbers came to fit it unfortunately it wasn't right for our bathroom. We wanted to return it (hadn't even been taken out of the box) but were told there is no such thing as a return as it was our fault (agreed - we had not taken a plumbing course recently and we purchased the wrong thing).We were offered 2 alternatives a) a store credit ... but we are not planning on renovating our bathroom again in the next 12 months so useless, OR b) sell it ourselves on ebaySo ... some lessons to be learnt from thisa) Make sure you know exactly (and I mean EXACTLY) what you want to purchase before dealing with this companyb) If you have any (and I mean ANY) possible concerns then try dealing with one of the bigger distributors / retailers (Tradelink/Reece/Bunnings/etc/etc) that understand things change in a project and have normal return policies that means they are happy to resell the item to another customer.Original Review BelowWe had looked at a lot of products online and in the usual places. We had decided on the range we wanted and these guys came up with the best price. We visited the showroom for one final check and David and Annabelle went out of their way to give us advice on items we had selected and how to tweak them slightly. The aftersales communication was great (very important when you have trades booked in for a bathroom reno), even though we had to change the shower rose because of supply (Covid) difficulties.

Am in the throws of renovating and have visited a few bathroom shops in St Leonards/Crows Nest area at which time I received little or no help from staff but lots of pressure to buy! Then I had the good fortune of discovering Bathroomware House in Crows Nest and things took a turn for the best. The Manager Gavin and his staff member Cindy gave me all their time to choose the best products. For Gavin, nothing was too much trouble and his advice on lots of ideas was invaluable. He also delivered the heavy products himself to avoid breakages from courier delivery. The shop itself has a very relaxing vibe and they stock the latest gear and their prices are very reasonable compared to other bathroom shops. If you are thinking of renovating - don't even contemplate going elsewhere! You won't be disappointed. Thank you Gavin and Cindy for all your efforts. Cath Stokes

Atrocious customer service and very slow delivery. Purchased three items on 27/04. One item turned up quickly. After about four weeks the remaining items had not arrived. After many phone calls, promised and failed to deliver return calls and looking into it, it was discovered that the order had not been passed on to the supplier. Finally the second item arrived over a month later. More unreturned phone calls and unhelpful service from staff who had no idea what was going on, finally 4/06 the final item showed up. Will not buy from again and would suggest another buyers beware - there are plenty of faster and more helpful sellers out there.

I wish i had read reviews before ordering. I ordered a toilet suite and was assured it would arrive in time for my renovation. Well i am now just about finished with the reno and have since ordered and had a toilet installed from elsewhere. I am still waiting on the toilet from Bathroomware House 2 months on. They say it has been shipped. I have no idea where it has been sitting the past 2 months. Have had no communication from them or the couriers they use. I am also expected to pay a 20% return fee, and apparently only get a store credit which i have no use for. I look forward to your generic reply.

A special thanks to the amazing Sarah and Chris and the rest of the team. I was searching for several different products and Sarah not only listened WELL but suggested different products that were suitable. Her help was invaluable and the goods arrived in an extremely timely manner. I would not hesitate to recommend this store -especially Sarah who has fabulous product knowledge and goes over and above what is required to make the customer satisfied. Staff initially appeared friendly but were impatient and made it clear the end of their work day was approaching. Whilst I appreciate a punctual home time is very important, being repeatedly reminded of this was somewhat irritating as I was well aware of the time and wanted to complete the order as quickly as possible.There was some confusion and frustation over the discounted prices quoted by the online team and the higher prices being quoted in store but after some discussion the lowest quote was honoured.Having said that the products arrived promptly and accurately and I received a call to notify me they were ready for collection which was much appreciated.
