knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Bought a Mirage Drive 180 conversion kit from them. They saw that I diy-ed an idler cable using jigging assist rope and gave me a replacement free of charge. Highly recommended.

Horrible phone costumer service by Josh. The guy was probably having a bad day but he had no reason to be so rude.As a customer, you should be treated with respect. This guy clearly doesn’t get that.I was hesitant to order online because of their bad reviews in this area, and when you call them to deal with them personally, you get to talk to this guy who treats you as if he is doing you a favour just to be on the phone with you.I was given misleading information from the moment I contacted them via e-mail. Dealing with them was just a waste of my time.I’ll take my business somewhere else.

Great service that does not stop after purchase.I bought in December 2016 a Hobie mirage eclipse (SUPER MAGIC BOARD. ) and holidaying this December in Jindabyne this year I stupidly left my peddles for it behind in Sydney. I rang Simon and he posted me replacement peddles which he rented to me. I had thought to buy but he was concerned at the economics of such a purchase.I rang Simon on a Tuesday morning and had the paddles the following afternoon. A CHAMPION PERSON IS SIMON.

I am a long term Hobie Revo owner and decided it was time for an upgrade. After doing my homework I ended up calling Simon (and Josh) at The Life Aquatic. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with and gave me a quote I couldn't refuse. I put a deposit down on the spot and they had the kayak delivered to my door the following week. Outstanding service, integrity and nice blokes to boot. You can't beat that.

Bought an Aquayak Scout from here and was impressed with firstly their website. Their response to online enquiries was prompt. Upon visiting the showroom at Mona Vale, Simon was helpful, friendly and efficient. This yak is a great deal and I took it out on Narrabeen Lagoon straight from buying it and loved its tracking and stability.

Very helpful staff. Sorted my 2nd hand Hobie Pro14 out with a Lowrance Hook2 and took care of the install. All for a very reasonable price. Would definitely come back when it's time to upgrade.
