Great place to stay overnight. Once it's dark traffic dies down and it's really quiet. Wonderful little town history to explore in the park.

Didn't stay overnight this time but there have been some nice improvements to the car park and access roads. Fantastic Cafe across the road open from 4am til 4:30 pm.

Close to busy main road. Toilets 3 to 4 minute walk away. Good pub. No water. Good ground cover despite drought.

Lovely park and rest area. Everything you need in one lovely spot. Shame some have to ignore all this and walk around and camp on the surrounding private properties or inbetween the playground and pub. Try to have some consideration for the locals please.

Short walk to a bird hide that looks out onto the wetlands. The walk is not very well maintained. The toilets are basic but fairly clean.

The Butcher's Cafe & Takeaway makes superb burgers. My 'All the Works' burger today was the best ever!My wife's ham & salad roll was equally good.Peter
