Wow. Really really great food. And the beer was perfect. Worth the extra few km. And luv listening to the locals. Really got the local feel.

Such an lovely authentic, rustique place. It just breath the real Australian spirit. The food was simple but the schnitzel I had was an extra large and well cooked. Salad and chips were great! The steak sandwich apparently was also a winner. I didn't try it myself but it came highly recommended. The characters in there are not polished which give the whole place a down to earth feeling. The new owners are wonderful and give a great service. Don't expect anything fancy but it is an old pub pub that has remained his true face. Highly recommend it.great value for money.

An awesome little country pub in a tiny town with cold beer, friendly locals and even a wombat wondering around outside. Next time we will take advantage of the nearby accommodation so we can stay for a few more drinks and the Sunday arvo music. I hear the food's great too. So glad we took notice of the sign on the highway coming into Braidwood - this place is worth driving out of the way for.

Great destination for a lunch or dinner stop. Warm and homey inside, fire going in winter.Service is great, friendly couple!I usually get the burgers, they are unreal!Hand sized with chips you can’t put down until you feel ill haha.Must visit!

We had a great stay the pub.Great food, great drinks, a lovely park across the road. We stayed the night and though the rooms are basic the beds were super comfortable and the pub owners were so hospitable.

I don't often give a 5 out of ten and it isn't given lightly. Also this place won't suit the city slicker who wants fancy trimmings. It's a really old place but I love it. The food is always perfect but it's the local cast of characters that really set this place apart. They are all friendly and love a chat. There's live music on Sunday arvo and the whole area often converges there for a shindig. This place is great for interested travelers who want to get out and find a cohesive and friendly small town of real people.

A rustic old pub which needs some tlc but the staff and people were friendly and the food great. Snitzel and chips was great, snitzel was a good size and nicely cooked and presented. Well worth a visit!

Great feed and very friendly service, as a last minute choice staying at the rec centre I will undoubtedly return to this beautiful country town.
